A soft, crooked smile found it's way onto his lips victoriously, slender dark eyebrows shooting up noticeably. A low gasp emitted from him, and navy blue eyes widened in what seemed to hold a concoction of astonishment, pride, and undoubtingly- horror. Was this what they've decided for me? Judgement?

Looking back up towards Teddy, Remington gave a soft chuckle. "It is dead." He stated simply, shrugging his shoulders and tossing the lifeless gameboy in the direction of his pup to see for himself.  However, the victorious stance had quickly died out, replaced by his odd, swaying one. Hands behind his back, rocking back and forth on the heels of his feet.

When Teddy's elder sibling, Finn approached, Remington watched with wide, curious eyes. "Aye-Aye Captain!" He said in a flat voice, dripping in amusement, and gave an all original salute. Once Finn had gallivanted away, Remington walked over towards the building, sliding down against it, taking his hat off and ruffling his hair. Plucking the glasses from the bridge of his nose, Rem nodded towards Teddy. "I guess this all starts tomorrow. Into the great beyond." He teased lightly before placing his hat onto his lap, trying to get comfortable.

"Not a problem." Remington replied in an endearing manner, a broad smile etching it's way onto his features, slightly crooked in it's innocence. Navy blue eyes wide with excitement and curiosity, lighting a fire within his eyes, slender dark eyebrows shooting up. "Up here," He motioned towards his eyes, lips thinning into a crooked smile, and expression churning a bit mysterious; although, that was all for the act.

Once his pup would extend his hand, Remington would attempt to call something deep within him, his jaw clencing noticeably. "You feel like something softly electricuting you, right? Like a almost dead socket?" Remington questioned, holding a bold gaze, his eyebrows narrowing softly in attempts to grab and reach for his abilities internally. The pain would be minimal,  but there, if it had worked; While Remington felt guilty about this small uncomfortale situation, he knew that it wouldn't hurt- just feel like a small internal buzz, if he got his point across. In reality, the game boy was about as dead as a rock, needing a batery to actually transform this childhood object into a small, handheld taser.

An embarassing shade of red glowed on the apple's of Remington's pale cheeks, and he shook his hands wildly, heaving an amused chuckle. "Not to worry. I just need you to be a little..lab rat of sorts." He explained, holding the gameboy in his hands, turning it over nervously in attempts to look inconspicuous. Navy blue eyes stuck to the two metal pieces that stuck out, looking a bit like tongs or two points, a bit sharp, but mostly rounded. "Just, trust me on this, alright? I wouldn't actually let anything hurt you." Remington questioned, trying to erase the doubt from his features and voice alike. A cheesy smile appeared. "You're my pup, remember?"

While he said the test was for Teddy, truth and all, it was for him; and his own knowing of where he stood with his newfound.. abilities. "I tinkered this thing around forawhile, and these tongs work sort of like a 'fear factor'," Remington made gestures with his hands towards the dead, lifeless gameboy with wire spun around it, "Although it's harmless. I assure you." Navy blue eyes flickered up towards his partner, his "pup" in a sense, and gave a reassuring, lopsided smile.

"So, if you would just hold out your hand..?" Remington questioned, arching an eyebrow, navy gaze trying to keep themselves on Teddy's. Truth be told, Rem was just trying to see how well he could cloud judgement, or if he truly could at all. It seemed like a more sinister ability, which made him question his morals, but testing it out by this little trick, he would learn for the better.

(Sounds exciting! I might add another character then, too.!)

A flash of pain surfaced at Teddy's mention of him masking his emotions with a smile, but quickly submurged the look of pain, and settled for a flushed, strained smile. "Little ol' me?" He proclaimed with a sarcastic yet sweet tone, fanning his face for dramatic emphasis. "I'm no actor, Ted." He commented, Remington's voice dropping to it's usual, rasped tone. He held a slight accent, All-American, although the origin wasn't easily pinpointed. It was an uncommon one, and one that could really only be detected once his whereabouts were known. Arching an eyebrow, Remington witnessed Teddy send Simone a silent plead, in which Remington responded with a shooing motion; hopefully, giving the woman an extra nudge.

Once Simone had trailed off to comfort the elder Collin's brother, Remington cleared his throat in attempts to gain Teddy's attention. Navy blue eyes narrowed themselves onto the younger brother, Teddy, and his naturally smirking lips feel into a neutral, flat stance. "Could you help me with something, Ted?" He questioned, simultaneously digging into the leather satchel for the gameboy that he had been tinkering with for some time. Hopefully this test would sidetrack the brother from worrying about Finn for the time being. Help take his mind off of things. The empty game cartridge end now had two small rolled up pieces of wire poking through it, and Remington's navy eyes fell from Ted's, onto the gameboy's dead screen.

Remington's face cleansed itself from it's unreadable state, falling into a worrisome fashion, perhaps read as irritated or uncomfortable. A soft chuckle emitted from him, although it held a melancholy tone, perhaps to match Teddy's undoubtingly irritated expression.  "I'm sure it's just his way of reacting to the current situation. Try not to overthink it to much, Ted." Nudging his partner with his elbow, Remington offered up a cheesy, state of the art lopsided smile. Navy eyes flickered to the ground, heaving a small shrug in response. "I'm sure he'll come around." He said, eyes holding a hopeful glint for the sake of his partner.

Taking Teddy's offered hand, Remington nodded a polite reply, taking it and hauling his physique from the floor. Once up and off of the concrete, he dusted himself off lightly, only now noticing a small pain in his lower back. Probably a scratch or bruise from tumbling back onto the cans. Although, Remington did a good job of hiding the slight discomfort with a lopsided smile. While Finn seemed irritated by even Rem's existence, Remington seemed to take pride and perhaps amusement in the way he got under the tatted up brother. However that was just a coy to hide Remington's own insecurities. And boy, did he hide them well.

A cool breeze drifted by, making sure to seep into every hole of his shirt, and he pulled the multicolored kimono tightly around his lanky body. Picking up on the previous conversation with Teddy, Remington began strolling towards the cafe, staying along the sides of the borded up windows. "You cant really blame Finn for acting this way. I mean, it's quite the situation to be thrown into. Still, I think I'm a decent guy at least. But, I wont dig into that. It seems deeply rooted." A small snicker emitted from the oddly dressed boy, and a hand reached up to his own face, twisting a strand of dark hair between his thumb and index.

"The future's too bright to dwell on the past. Life's fast, run faster."

Quinn gave a sheepish smile, his honey-green eyes flickering up towards the ceiling. "No, none taken at all." He commented genuinely, waving his hands in an understanding manner, his smile broadening to show dimples on either sides of his cheeks, and causing the corners of his eyes to crinkle in an endearing fashion. Sweet Pea yawned beside him, showing off impressive incisors for a greyhound of her age, before settling down besides Quinn, curling up and letting her eyes flutter closed. The mere motions leading up to that were infectous, causing Quinn to yawn as well, although he was quick to cover up his yawn with a palm.

"Tomorrow I was thinking I would head out- If that's okay with you folks." Quinn asked with a hint of caution, although, he was only asking out of mere courtesy to the group. It would be rather suspicious to leave randomly in the morning and them not know whether or not he will return.

Remington's navy blue eyes remained on the cans as he stacked them, red cheeks and a soft, amused smile on his pursed lips. As Teddy trotted over, he glanced up, his smile widening an ounce. "Ah, little ol' me is just fine, don't you worry." Rem said with a light chuckle to his tone. He brought his hand to his face, brushing away some stray strands of black hair. Remington's other hand motionied towards the cans that had been stacked, although, still somehow looked messy. "Sorry about the cans." Remington said, a small smile on his lips.

"You don't look to happy.." Remington said, although it sounded more so like a question. However, feeling selfconcious about prying, he cleared his throat. "But I assume it's between you and your brother, so I'll leave it alone."
