What do you think of cross-gender RPers? (Guys that rp as girls, and girls that rp as guys.)

Totally acceptable.
I'm one of 'em!
They make me uncomfortable when I find out they're not their character's gender.
They should stick to rping their IRL gender!

All I could say, without damning myself, has already been said.

I've never encountered this type of person before. It almost makes me want to. Just to see how they really are. As an outside observer, it sounds like they are mixing up their character and player relations. Secretly hoping that they will have an internet fling with the player of their characters mate. I wouldn't be surprised if those people are also on the younger end of the age scale.


Personally, I will never play a female character seriously. It just cannot be done.

Though I've had players assume I was male. I don't bother to correct them. I have my reasons.

So I noticed I never answered the actual question. While it's probably obvious: I find no qualms with cross-gender anything.

I dont see wats wrong rping the opposite gender. Some ppl r better at rping a male character than girl characters or the other way around. I usually rp a male character and yea im a girl but nothin wrong with that.

Yes thats exactly right. Rping is being someone ur not, so they shouldnt tell us to be our characters gender its wrong!

Totally agree , that is completely acceptable to me .. Lol although strange things have happened to me xD But i pretty much have nothing against it because i also sneak into my male charries once in a while ^^

I don't understand people whom don't like the cross-genderrpers like me! Its not right... Ive een kicked out of an RP when my mate found out i was female! It sucks when people hate :/

People are creeped out about this? O_O then I'm a real creep to them cause I and a Female and All may characters are Male but 1 That's just strange that people wouldn't like RPing as diff genders
