Feral Heart

"You know I love you, right Kynreath?"

She stared in horror at her mother, watching the grey rock turn as red as the sun.

"Of course Kopa."

She felt a hard lump in her throat, ready to crumble to the ground. It hurt, the way he looked at her, and she wanted to cry out in pain and anger. She felt like throwing herself at her mother and tearing her to shreds, and then again, she wanted to rush to his side and lick him back to his golden pelt.

"Daylight is coming,"

Only he stood, and though he was beaten and though he looked ready to die, he stood on solid legs, blood running from his mouth. He looked like a wolf that had been chained to an tree and beat over and over. But he stood on solid paws. "You can't separate us." His voice was thin ice, ready to break, but still solid.

"I know,"

Her mother looked shocked he was alive. "I grew up in a world that was not perfect, surrounded by my father saying that stupid rhyme about sticks and stones and broken bones." Each word came as a gasp. "I grew up thinking no one built the sun for me, and when I met her, it felt different. You will never break the bond."

"Our fairy tale is coming to an end for another day,"

Her mother stared at him, almost as if prospering his words. "You look at me and think I'm perfect but deep down I'm broken and yes it's true, it hurts, they all looked at me and my life and thought it was perfect so they'd tease thinking I'd run home happy, but, I hurt Zira." He staggered, looking to Kynreath. "She gave me my happy ending."

"I'll see you tomorrow."

Zira stared at him, before smiling. "Depression? Is that what ills you Kopa? I see, if that's what drives you to insanity, fine." She turned, and before Kynreath could blink, Kopa was surrounded by shadows, and the thrashing started, and the hurt poured from his eyes.

"Hey princey,"

"He looks like a freak!"

"His voice keeps cracking!"


Sometimes...not all fairytales have happy endings...

Recently a group asked me to join them. I really wanted to but the problem was I couldn't get the map to work. I asked people of the group to help me, but everything I did didn't work. It was a map where you had to download music, textures, etc. To the different folders. I put the export files into the export folder, put the sound files into the sound folder, put the music files into the music folder, but the terrian textures into the terrian>texture folder, and out the objects into the objects folder. It didn't work. I tried it multiple times but it didn't work. So I has to leave the group. D:

Help? (Preferred a step by step, not a video)

I was able to download FH onto my Mac. It works fine. So I tried to download it onto my PC (I use Bootcamp) and when I do it takes me to Addfly. The thing that pops up looks suspicious, something about OD something. So I went to download the torrent but I get a message saying it needed to be opened with something. I didn't trust downloading  anything so I deleted the torrent.

Help?

It was a night like no other, and I won't forget...
         
I had just gotten FeralHeart last Friday, the night of Halloween. Loved the game until...well...I quit it. Why you ask? since that game is haunted. So I was getting on my character 'Skyler' and decided to do some exploring, since I never really took the time to explore. I hopped on FeralHeart, and began to head towards Flourite Plains. Thats when it all happened. I got into the map and noticed it had changed. I wasn't getting spammed with movies, and no one was on.  I went towards the Stone Bridge and saw no one. Then I saw it. Red paw prints. To large to be any character's, so I followed them. I finally reached a cave, and saw a giant mass in the corner. I immediately typed in something in chat.

[Skyler]  Hey, whats up with FeralHeart? Is there a new update?

He said nothing, but only looked at me with black eyes, and white fur. He was a wolf, but he had no eyes...

[Micheal] I'm coming for you

Then, he got a rage face on, and then I saw a flare shoot through my screen. I saw my character in a world, blood painted walls that said "Trick or Treat?!"
Then I saw Micheal again, he walked towards my character. I saw him grinning, and I ran Skyler. I found a portal, and ran through. I then saw it, all the players were back, and all was well. I looked behind me and saw no portal. Thats when I quit FeralHeart, undownloaded it, and quit the game forever. I won't forget that night. But most importantly, I won't forget Micheal

Nice short tale about how wolves appeared on the scene, Madeline. And tis true, the discovery of wolves was a grand one for many. ~
