Storm Meter is a clan of hyenas living in Battlelands, lead by Ga'Tore. They are fierce rivals with Crescent Miles, and are hostile. Members of Crescent Miles may make one hyena to be in Storm Meter if they wish. (All hyenas are to join the Crescent Miles in-game group, though. XD)
Hyenas don't really have as strict guidelines as the cheetahs, but they must:
- use Sickle Tail
- use either Spotted Hyena, Striped Hyena, or Full Splatter markings
- have their under eye be a special color (like war paint) [OPTIONAL]
Ranks are pretty crappy loose:
Clanhead - This is Ga'Tore, and, if he chooses one, Ga'Tore's mate.
Subs - Sub leaders, in charge when Ga'Tore isn't around.
Hunters - Hunters. Get food.
Guards - Guard the den and the food.
Spies - Spies get near enemy lines, and report back to the Clan on the whereabouts of the Cheetahs.
Cubs - Kids. Babies. Youngin's.
There is no warrior class - all hyenas are expected to fight in battle. To die in battle is to do honor to oneself.

Personality: Kaya is a bright, cheerful cheetah. She always wants to brighten up a cheetah's day, and she can rarely be seen with a frown on her face. Kaya is actually a long-lost cousin of Aliyah (a medic I used to play as), though she never knew. However, there are times when Kaya can be bossy, rude, and sometimes aggressive, though she tries to hide it sometimes. Kaya sometimes needs a friend every now and then to support her or to comfort her, since she sometimes appears to be lonely when she sits alone or doesn't talk for awhile. The reason why she will sometimes spend her time alone is because of her past.

Kaya wished she could sleep next to her mother's fur like she did when she was a cub. She then walked out of the den and looked up at the sky, the sun bright in the sky. She smiled and forgot about her mother for an instant and then decided to walk around the Tribe's territory.

RP Sample (We are a literate RP group! At least four complete sentences!): Naomi looked around the land before her, she trotted along slowly and then stopped. She stiffened at a new scent, one that was unfamiliar to her, she growled and followed the new scent quietly as she could. She heard a voice and then ducked behind a bush. She looked around it and then saw a hyena, talking to itself. She glared at it and then she jumped from behind the bush, running at top speed, which took the hyena by surprise and she rammed into it's side. Unfortunately she toppled over with the hyena, it growled it's menacing growl, and she stood backing up, it charged and she darted out of the way. Jumping on top of the hyena's back as it was still turned the other way. She bit it's exposed upper neck, it shook violently and Naomi almost lost her balance on it's back, then it rammed her into a nearby rock, she was dazed shortly, but when she could see clearly, she saw the hyena running away, it's neck bleeding she smiled. But the hit knocked her out shortly after she regained vision, then the world around her went black.

Well, not a whole lot happened this RP.
For a change, Eaglify, Jessie Dagger, and I were on, and it has been decided that Ukhozi has not been born yet, and her mother is going to be Naomi. Naomi is currently a loner who is destined to join the tribe as a Warrior.
Saturday Roleplay
Mist-stalker Reno Jacul wanders away from the village yet again with nothing to do, still brooding over the day before with Medic Katarina Asha and Scout Nitro. After a while of walking, he comes across Loner Naomi, who's lying beside a boulder after getting thrown into it by a hyena. As Reno examines her, he takes notice of her swollen belly, though he doesn't know what to make of it yet. When Naomi awakens, she tells him that she can't remember a thing besides her name and her family, and she therefore doesn't know that she's carrying a cub. She also mentions that she came from a tribe called "Tribe of the New Moon". Reno, putting his self-healing skills to use, presses cobweb to the cut on her head, stopping the bleeding. Naomi drifts off into slumber again, and Reno leaps up onto the boulder beside her to keep watch, knowing not to take his eyes off her until this particular problem is put to rest.

So, that's that. I'm sure Ukhozi will be put under Naomi's 'Offspring' in her roster status, until she's born. ^^

RP Sample :
Akbar grumbled under his breath as he watched his mother walk in circles. She had been in a terrible mood all day, and now that his younger brother had gone missing, she was livid. She snarled as she turned, beginning to pace a different route. Shaking his head, he watched her, waiting for her to lash out, to calm down, or run elsewhere. Quite frankly he was just tired of her attitude.
Rising, he decided he'd leave before being told to. Shaking the dirt from his pelt, he padded away from the tree and headed for the river.
As he crossed the plains, he neared the pride lion's territory. They had control of the river, and had for years. His family often had to pick their way across. Some of the males of the pride enjoyed chasing them off.
The sun continued to beat down on him, causing him to pant slightly. Letting his eyes slide shut for a few moments, he cursed as he was sent fumbling to the ground after tripping over something. "For the love of..." He had scrambled to his feet, turning to see a cublet laying in the grass.
Narrowing his eyes, he poked his face close to her's, arching a brow. "What's up, cublet?"
The lion cublet just stared at him, rolling to her stomach and staring straight back at him. She narrowed her brows in confusion before returning to the nonchalant face she held before. In turn, he narrowed his eyes at her, and determined he decided, he would befriend this cublet.
Been considering joining this for a while... Finally worked up the umph to post an application.

I've never actually encountered that kind of error back when I had Windows. But it does look like there is more to the directory it's mentioning in the error, as the box can scroll to the right, if the last part of what I can see in the screenshot is the zip, maybe it's trying to extract into the wrong folder?
If possible, you can try and see if you can right-click the zip and select some option called 'Extract' or 'Extract Here', one of the two, I forget. As that's what I used to/still do, actually.
Before you can RP, you'll also need to provide us an app of your character too.

Personality: A sarcastic, rude, untameable, and gravating female. Shes mysterious, and most of the times emotionless. This feline is a fiesty, fierce, and a mean cheetah. Sometimes people say she is untrustful, and that she'd sit back and watch a fight instead of helping. She is a silent and deadly assassin, and can sneak behind someone undetected. She'd be a great Mist-Stalker, if she was in a tribe. Thea is a cunning, and sly person, and can sometimes manipulate others to her will. This female can be scary when she wants to be, and is not afraid to make her complaints and insults out loud. But deep down, she is scared, scared to get close to people. When people bring up her past, she just shrugs them off. She does not trust easily, and uses her defensive act to make people back off. But when she deems you as her friend, she'll become a completely different person. Bubbly, Friendly, and funny. She'd be nice, helpful, and would protect you with her life. She can actually be very sweet to others, and does like to smile, even though its rare. The truth is, she fears the person she wants to trust just wants to use her, or kill her, but the thing she fears about most is that they will leave her. Thea is afraid of losing the people she cares about, and knows it will only bring her heartache. A fast runner is what she is, and is very agile and quick.

RP Sample (We are a literate RP group! At least four complete sentences!): A lazy silver figure was splayed out on a rock, a cheetah. It was a female. Thea let out a small yawn, a peaceful smile on her lips as she stretched out. Her tail swished behind her as she lay out, sunbathing. Her ears flicked as she blinked her eyes open, violet mixed blue eyes looking up. The feline shifted, moving into a sitting figure as she took a small glance around. She leapt of the rock gracefully, the soft savannah grass swaying and hitting lightly against her paws, like a playful kitten lapping at you're fingers. She then began to pad forward on light pawpads, she felt relaxed at being alone, and she took a small sniff of theair. A scent hit her pink nose, and she froze, trying to sense it. It was heading towards her, the female jumped into a bush, watching as a honey colored lioness came from the bushes, looking around with its chocolate auds. She let out a low warning noise, stepping from the foliage as the fur on her back stood up. The lioness looked at her, and the cheetah sized her up. It would be stupid to take the feline on. The cheetah began walking away, ever so glancing back. But the bigger lioness seemed to follow her, almost stalking her like she was prey. Thea turned back around, eyes narrowed as she rushed at the feline, then swerving to the right and kicking at its back. It fell over and tripped, turning to face her. She began running while it was stunned, and ran until she could no longer sense it. The gray female laid down, laying her head on her paws as she tried to calm her heartbeat, tired from her run.

Herro, everyone!
I have missed you guys and the roleplay for so long! With the last semester of my freshman year, things have been pretty crazy. But with the coming of summer, this will present me (and I'm sure many others) with more free time and more roleplay time. Hence, activity in the group should improve. :D
For those of you I have not met, I'm GamerGirl, also know as Radhi, the male cheetah I play. For some reason, he is not up on the member page on the front (from inactivity? IDK) but I have been in this roleplay for a long time now and was a previous member of VC. It's nice to meet you and I hope we get to roleplay together soon.
Frosty - It's nice to see you taking over for Kerri while she's busy. Just letting you know I have three more days of school and then I'm free for the summer! So you can expect me at the roleplay tonight and for many that are coming up. :)

Trainee Blue is still currently depressed from her ordeal with Storm Meter, but she nonetheless asks Master Medic Katarina to go for a walk to stretch out her stiff joints from sitting around for so long in her nest in the Medics' den, to which Kat gives her permission with a not-so-clear conscious. Meanwhile, Loner Thea wanders into the territory to bite down hard on the tail of an oblivious Scout Nitro who's standing near the village entrance with malicious intention. He grows angry with her, and it is known that she runs off moments later. Back in the walls of the village itself, Mist-Stalker Mia returns from a long travel which didn't turn out as sucessful as she'd hoped, though she doesn't come into contact yet with any of her tribemates. The other two Mist-Stalkers, Zuri and Reno, are sitting at the entrance to their den when a peculiar friend of Zuri's, a chameleon who oddly knows much about the tribe and the future trouble that they will have to endure, comes in undetected by no one but his only friend in the tribe, to Reno's confusion of overhearing his voice but not being able to see him. As this is taking place, a hyena cub from Storm Meter sneaks into camp and hides behind the rocks near the Mist-Stalkers' den just as Kat comes to talk to Reno about training Blue with his moves and skills in order to avenge her pride to Storm Meter by killing the hyena who deceived her, which may lead to her leaving her rut of depression. Reno agrees, but moments later, he and Kat sense the hyena cub. They find her; a girl cub named Cyanide, who is lonely and without a mother in the cruel group that is Storm Meter. Reno and Kat are then left to decide Cyanide's fate, be it a number of things, none of which sound right, given the situation at hand...

Saturday Roleplay
While Cyanide - a lonely hyena cub who receives the most comfort from Master Medic Katarina - struggles with the hatred filled glares from every cheetah in the tribe village, Trainee Blue is out by the river when she spots a scrap of fur in the water, which turns out to be Cub Ukhozi, a newborn cheetah cub. In the midst of all, Mist-Stalker Reno is searching for the trainee to have a talk with her about taking her under his wing as his student in the field of Mist-Stalker moves and training style. Instead, Blue comes crashing in with Ukhozi in her mouth, who quickly goes under care from Kat. But closely following behind Blue is the familiar face of Loner Roi, really no longer much of a loner. Kat's brother, Mist-Stalker Radhi, makes a return as well, and is just walking into the village when Ukhozi is sound asleep, leaving Kat and Roi to discuss their situation concerning the romantic interests Roi had in her, but not without dismissing an impatient and annoyed Reno first. After a long and intense discussion, Kat decides to start over in her relationship with the former loner, to which Roi gratefully agrees to before parting for Fungi Bridge.

Saturday Roleplay
In the early hours of the day, the tribe is up and about. Mist-Stalker Mia runs into Loner Akbar outside the village, who is very hungry and tired. After an edgy conversation - not to mention a brief scuffle - they head back to the village in wonder as to whether or not Akbar will be welcomed there. Meanwhile, Mist-Stalker Reno finally gets to talk to Trainee Blue about her bone to pick with "Gar", the evident hyena who deceived her. But Blue runs off, afraid of the idea of revenge, before Reno can stop her. She is promptly followed out of the village walls by Mist-Stalker Zuri, with her peculiar chameleon friend in tow. As just, Blue begs Zuri not to take her back, scared, but then notices Friend Chameleon and grows rather curious as an oppose to anything else. Reno stalks into the Medics' den, where Master Medic Katarina, Loner Roi, and the newborn cub Ukhozi are. He explains to Kat that their idea for Blue backfired on them when it was attempted, though he later shifts the conversation to the cub, who is crying for milk. In the end, Kat gets an idea to feed the cub with a compensation for milk until a nursing cheetah in the tribe volenteers to look after her, which she can only hope is soon.

There were no more words left to describe the deep ache in her heart, or how hollow she felt or how betrayed she was. Yes, perhaps once she had brought this same plight upon herself, by leaving her home -- not Him, as it was, but this vast land encompassed within the fitting of a sparse few clusters of trees and greenery--but then, the emotions had felt more severe. Now, there was just... nothing. Then, she'd known (or thought, because shortly after those thoughts she had been proven wrong) that no one had cared for her. Now, she knew that maybe, at some point, there was a chance that at least one other felidae had had some sort of feeling. He had led her to believe it was love, but then why would he leave? It was different, now. She felt somewhat betrayed. Not that she'd ever admit it to anyone; it was hard even telling herself as such.
It felt as though there was a heavy weight splayed over her shoulders and she could not shrug it off. Ilirra didn't think she had even a shred of energy left to climb the looming structure with its gray crags and its fungi covered surface glistening in the midday sun. She could not see to the top, even, because the peaks were so shrouded in a hazy mist that was impossible to penetrate with one's naked gaze. Ilirra trekked aimlessly at the base of the Mountain, hastily dodging other cheetahs and all the while wondering when she had become this antisocial, broken little girl who moped and sulked over someone who was no longer there. It was long ago she stopped trusting he would return.
There was a thick loop of trees running along the Mountain's edges, and it was often overlooked in favor of the main attraction itself. She wasn't sure how many cheetahs stopped to pay attention to this place, teeming with fauna and things unknown. Perhaps that curiosity was one of the only things she retained from long ago. That, and a strange behavior pertaining to her dislike of stepping on twigs. A vague memory of her father came back to her mind, and Ilirra felt a shudder drift involuntarily down her spine. Distracted as she was, padding around the thick trunk of a particularly large tree, she did not care to notice anyone else taking part in activities in that area.
Ilirra yelped in shock as she stepped into the path of a red, running blur and collided with it (she wasn't really able to decipher the gender at that point, mind racing as it was). A very familiar bone structure was pressed against hers and dark eyes flashing, lip lifting somewhat, Ilirra forced herself away from him--his name not spoken, even in her mind--and managed to glance up into his topaz stare. "I apologize," she muttered faintly, ears pressing back to her skull as she took long steps to skirt around and away from him.

RP Sample (We are a literate RP group! At least four complete sentences!):
[color=white]There were no more words left to describe the deep ache in her heart, or how hollow she felt or how betrayed she was. Yes, perhaps once she had brought this same plight upon herself, by leaving her home -- not [i]Him[/i], as it was, but this vast land encompassed within the fitting of a sparse few clusters of trees and greenery--but then, the emotions had felt more severe. Now, there was just... nothing. Then, she'd known (or thought, because shortly after those thoughts she had been proven wrong) that no one had cared for her. Now, she knew that maybe, at some point, there was a chance that at least one other felidae had had some sort of feeling. He had led her to believe it was love, but then why would he leave? It was different, now. She felt somewhat betrayed. Not that she'd ever admit it to anyone; it was hard even telling herself as such.
It felt as though there was a heavy weight splayed over her shoulders and she could not shrug it off. Ilirra didn't think she had even a shred of energy left to climb the looming structure with its gray crags and its fungi covered surface glistening in the midday sun. She could not see to the top, even, because the peaks were so shrouded in a hazy mist that was impossible to penetrate with one's naked gaze. Ilirra trekked aimlessly at the base of the Mountain, hastily dodging other cheetahs and all the while wondering when she had become this antisocial, broken little girl who moped and sulked over someone who was no longer there. It was long ago she stopped trusting he would return.
There was a thick loop of trees running along the Mountain's edges, and it was often overlooked in favor of the main attraction itself. She wasn't sure how many cheetahs stopped to pay attention to this place, teeming with fauna and things unknown. Perhaps that curiosity was one of the only things she retained from long ago. That, and a strange behavior pertaining to her dislike of stepping on twigs. A vague memory of her father came back to her mind, and Ilirra felt a shudder drift involuntarily down her spine. Distracted as she was, padding around the thick trunk of a particularly large tree, she did not care to notice anyone else taking part in activities in that area.
Ilirra yelped in shock as she stepped into the path of a red, running blur and collided with it (she wasn't really able to decipher the gender at that point, mind racing as it was). A very familiar bone structure was pressed against hers and dark eyes flashing, lip lifting somewhat, Ilirra forced herself away from him--his name not spoken, even in her mind--and managed to glance up into his topaz stare. "I apologize," she muttered faintly, ears pressing back to her skull as she took long steps to skirt around and away from him. [/color]

Saturday Roleplay
In midday, the village of Crescent Miles is active. While a restless Mist-Stalker Reno and a bored Cub Alex are hanging around, doing nothing but thinking to themselves, Scout Kamilyah heads out of the village to run around and hunt for a little while, but the mixed scents in the air draw her further and further away from the village walls. Meanwhile, Sub Garland Tacticus of Storm Meter is a little too close to the territory for comfort, and the precence of Kamilyah passing by stirs him from his deep thoughts concerning thinking up ways to use his earlier communication with Reno to his advantage. From a certain area further away, near Fungi Bridge, another hyena from Storm Meter named Bonzi is on the prowl, and Kami soon walks right into him immediately after Reno leaves the village to go looking for her, having noticed her long absence. A fight breaks out between Kamilyah and Bonzi upon Reno's arrival. The Mist-Stalker doesn't hesitate to join in, and he is closely watched by Garland in doing so, who is in hiding. The striped hyena grows unsure as to what he should do, in knowing he'd be recongnized by the cheetahs as a part of Storm Meter if seen with Bonzi. The fight finds its way to the edge of Fungi Bridge, and Bonzi has Kami cornered as an injured and delayed Reno is running in their direction. Gar cuts in first, however, and decides to continue playing the "Fletcher" role, no longer hurt, and try to gain the cheetahs' trust - Reno's especially. Kamilyah has no choice but to jump off the bridge. She lands safely in the water and swims to shore despite her injuries, but eventually collapes to the ground upon reaching land. As Garland fakes confronting Bonzi, the crazed hyena decides to throw the Sub off the bridge. Gar, too, lands safely in the water, and he grudgingly tends to dragging Kami to a safer place. Reno, enraged, confronts Bonzi for real. The two brutally battle it out at the base of the bridge until they're both lying on the ground, bloodied up and exhausted. Bonzi, beaten and now weak, yells at an equally weakened Reno to simply kill him and end his suffering. Before he can truly convince the Mist-Stalker to do so, he passes out. Garland, leaving the side of an injured but live Kamilyah to see what happened between the two, finds that both who had fought are still alive. He drags Reno further up the hill to a safer spot, and upon Reno asking, lies and says he doesn't know Bonzi. Finally, the Mist-Stalker decides to kill the brute of a hyena, but Gar stops him. In addition to all his previous lies, the Sub tells Mister Jacul that Bonzi is dead, and Reno tiredly takes his word for it. Leaving the hyena whom he only knows by the name Fletcher, he finds Kamilyah and brings her back to the village, ready to rest after their horrifically long day.

Personality: Ember is normally quiet and laid back, but she can suddenly turn outgoing and loud. She likes to have her voice heard, and will do anything for the tribe. Ember has an incurable disease that makes her vision go away for short or long periods. She has learned to cope with it, and has developed better hearing and smell that the other cheetahs wouldn't need. She always fears that she may go blind, but she'll continue on when that happens. If you ask her about her name, she'll tell you the story of why she chose it. She's like an ember in a fire of millions, but that doesn't stop her. She keeps her head up high no matter what happens.
History: She was found on the outskirts of the tribe's territory about a week ago in a coma. She has finally woken up, and is ready to help the tribe. She refuses to tell anyone her real name, only the one that she chose for herself. She also will never mention her past, no matter what.

My nose really is a natural color, just covered up."

Age: He's a young adult, the specific age isn't know.

Personality: Not much is known about Shadow. You'll have to find out for yourselves.
Bio/History: Shadow is your everyday hyena, except he recently moved in on tribe territory. Cheetahs have seen Shadow roaming the grasslands. Why he isn't with the other hyenas, nobody knows. Normally, an invading hyena is killed at first sight. Nobody has yet attempted to kill him. Shadow currently hasn't hurt anyone, but nobody can be sure he won't try in the near future. A rumor is passed from cheetah to cheetah that the Shadows have seeped into his brain, causing him to be eternally dark and mysterious. This is where his nickname came from. He is most active at night, and it is planned to have him removed and killed soon. Though, Shadow won't be letting that happen any time soon...

RP Sample (We are a literate RP group! At least four complete sentences!): Dafari unsheathed his claws to get a good grip on the rock he was climbing. He made small leaps and bonds, careful not to loose his footing. Turing his head to the sun of above him, he noticed that it was almost mid-noon. He thought that he might as well go back before his mentor noticed he strayed away. "Oh well, so much for exploring," he muttered to himself. Backtracking his progress, he finally made it back to the village. Keeping his belly low to the ground, he slowly snuck back into place. "So what would you do then Dafari?" said his mentor, obviously asking one of his/her usual pop quiz questions. Dafari smiled. He knew he had not been caught and that his mentor would never notice. "Um, repeat the question again?"

Saturday Roleplay
After the tiring events of the day, Scout Kamilyah and Mist-Stalker Reno return home to the village, beaten and bloody. They're headed for the Medics' den when Trainee Blue passes them up on her own way there. She informs Master Medic Katarina that she felt bad about overreacting in front of Reno after he offered to help train her in his ways, and by this time, Reno himself comes in to accept it, closely followed by Kami. Blue frets over thinking it may be too late now to learn from him, but Reno reassures the trainee in telling her "It's never too late to fit underneath a helping wing, kid.", much to Blue's relief and gratitude. Kat tends to the wounds of the two injured cheetahs as they discuss the 'Fletcher' hyena, Garland Tacticus, and the stranger hyena who attacked the Scout and Mist-Stalker in the first place. Meanwhile, further off, Garland himself is there when a drowsy and brutalized Bonzi awakens. The two, after some argument, make a deal: Bonzi is to do all of Gar's bidding on command in exchange for revenge on the cheetahs - preferably, Reno.

Personality: Nariea has been told she is evil, hard-headed, and even crazy. But that just isn't the case. Nariea may look like a total wacko or a kill- well she is a killing machine, but she is a smart hyena. She may have a blood lust, and she may love battle. But that doesn't mean she isn't friendly to hyenas. She is quite social, but in a bad mood.... She is as prickly as a porcupine. She is very caring, nice, social, loyal, motherly, and all out good to other hyenas. But be warned, if you get her mad, she will not be very kind any longer.. But I won't say anything else, you have to find out what happens when she is mad.
Bio/History:Nariea has a pretty unknown past, many haven't asked so many don't know. But I think I can shed some light on this matter.
Nariea grew up on the savannah alone. Her parents had died and so had her brother. A few lone cheetahs had decided her family would be fair game. Her parents were both small, and the cheetahs were not. Her parents fought but couldn't take down the cheetahs, they looked like lions! They had huge muscles and sharp teeth, Nariea watched in horror as her parents were slaughtered. Her and her brother had hid in the grasses near a tree. But the cheetahs caught their scent... Nariea was riped away from her brother's paws, the cheetah holding her didn't kill her but made her watch them killing her brother... She watch tears coming to her eyes, then pure anger arose. From this day on, she vowed, I will always hate cheetahs, cheetahs are nothing but evil, heartless... Well they are just evil and heartless and goodness knows what else! She growled and snaped, her mind filled with anger and hatred. She managed to bite the cheetah that was holding her on the nose. It let go of her with a yowl, she ran and ran then looked back, the cheetahs... Were gone... She padded back to where her family was, and weeped over them all. Then she looked to the setting sun, and ran toward it, not knowing where she was going.
And thats all that I can tell,but no one knows how she got her scars... Will you be the one to find out?

The Saturday after the roleplay where Reno met Naomi by the rock, you were absent, and I wasn't quite sure how to carry on with it. XD
Perhaps we could fit into the roleplay somehow that Ukhozi was born, and Naomi was for some reason found later on, if you're planning on joining back in any time soon...? The way it happened in the RP was that Ukhozi was found nearly drowned in the lake, and Blue saved her.
I've been considering it for a while. May not seem apparent though. Lol. Maybe, perhaps, Naomi got separated from her after she was born?

She could see far off into the distance from here. Akai turned back to face the cliff and looked for another paw hold to go higher. Saturday Roleplay
Around the walls of the village, Loner Naomi is searching for her cub, Ukhozi, whom she is beginning to believe was stolen away by Crescent Miles after a hawk separated them. Nearby, loner hyena Kamie Ki May is wandering by the village with an air of curiosity with her, though she doesn't make any final decisions thereafter to enter. Meanwhile, with more courage displayed with her than over the past few days, Trainee Blue begins growing impatient with anticipation for when Mist-Stalker Reno will start teaching her. She gets Master Medic Katarina to check him over, though he lies through his teeth and states that he feels much better. Kat senses that he is lying, and she gives him herbs to ease the pain a bit, so's he can go out and train Blue a little with the exception of trying not to work himself too hard. By the next den over, Trainee Dafari is confused over Scout Ruaidhri's strange ways during a mostly one-sided conversation with him. In the end, he ultimately decides that when he is older, he'd most like to be like him.

This female can be a little bit of a "badass" when she wants to. She's really smart, what makes her useful in strategical things.
She trained hard to get the capability of feeling vibrations in the ground, and she can even feel little ants walking meters far.
She wants to have a little cub of her own when she can. Rraok is soft and cute against cubs.

As I saw the little cubs play around, in pure signal of joy and happyness, I remembered myself in my cub years. My dad used to overprotect me, because he thought I was weak.
Weak. Weak. WEAK. I used to tell him "I am not blind, I just cannot see". But it was unuseful.
He did not know that, when I was just a few months old, I beated most of the other cubs in "playing battles", because of my seismic sense. And I want to teach the little ones to use it, even if they are able to see, it helps a lot in battle.
But the fact that they can see, makes them more distract. Distracted in catching the colorful butterflies, or taking off petals of rainbow flowers.
And I will never see another thing but nothing.

Frost and I decided that tomorrow, we'll both be on for an Ancestors RP. :D So if you were perhaps apart of the old group and have a character that was killed off (or - since CM is a hundred years into the future - they just died of old age), bring them to Crescent Caverns tomorrow! If you have a character who is amongst the living, you may come anyway. We'll probably think of a way to have them join in. Spirits interacting with living, breathing cheetahs is an interesting plot concept, anyway. XD
This, in my opinion, is the perfect way to play as the character(s?) that you miss RPing as. :3 But trust me, I know this certainly won't be the only one!

Saturday Roleplay
A normal, sunny, cloudless day turns into a terrible nightmare, needless to say. Mist-Stalker Reno is sitting outside the Medics' den, suffering over his injuries that are still paining him, when Cub Alex shows up to confess that his plans for fun have all been used up. After a short conversation concerning things the male cub can do to amuse himself, Alex abruptly runs off to go jump off some more den tops, leaving Reno to watch him, anxiously hoping the kid won't hurt himself. Just then, Master Medic Katarina comes out, and her and Reno discuss cubs and, more precisely, when they were cubs. Meanwhile, Garland Tacticus of Storm Meter is still on the prowl when he finds a secret entry in the village wall, and using it, he attempts to scope out Reno, whom he dubs "Spots" for the time. In the end, he concludes that he'd be better off hunting down the leader of Crescent Miles first, though he can't figure out who's who in the tribe. Alex comes back to Reno and Kat to explain that he got bored again, but not before sensing Gar. He leaves the village promptly afterwards to find something else to do, unknown to Kat and Reno. Unluckily, he runs straight into Nariea, another Sub hyena in Storm Meter. She immediately begins picking on him at first sight, and he gets a mild injury. From a distance, Trainee Chyanna picks up on the sound of the screams in her session of sulking moodily for her lost family. She quickly comes to Alex's rescue, dropping the pendant around her neck on the way there. A bloody fight starts to ensue between her and Nariea, and Garland soon takes notice after finding Chy's pendant and following her scent. He hides, however, as he knows Nariea will recongnize him and his cover will be blown. While the two fight, Alex manages to run back to the village where he gets help. Katarina, not knowing what else to do but follow after gathering some herbs together, lets him lead her to the scene. Reno follows the two of them, despite the wound in between his shoulder blades. Even Cyanide, the little, clumsy hyena cub from the enemy's side of the lines, shows up to hide behind Kat's leg and watch in horror. Kat rams into Nariea out of anger, trying to treat Chy's wounds, but Nariea is not fazed. She grabs Chyanna and puts her on her back, running off with her in order to take her back to Storm Meter. She presumably plans to kill the young cheetah, but not without torturing some answers out of her first. They are followed by Gar, who then realizes that Reno saw him, and he is unable to do anything but leave before he does something noticably suspicious. Nariea is licking Chy's gored up wounds to keep her alive a little longer when she comes to a stop and takes cover, and Garland soon shows up to prompt her about what she plans to do with the cheetah. Back, nearer to the village, Reno softly asks an angry and terrified Alex if he can walk back home, to which the cub yells in response and runs away from the Mist-Stalker to be alone atop the nearest boulder. Reno follows him, and Alex simply makes clear that if they want him to come home, they'll need to carry him because he refuses to move. Kat, now impatient with the cub and shaken up from being inches away from the fight, pins the cub down and picks him up before he can protest. Cyanide picks up the herbs brought on Kat's orders, and the four of them return home, luckily none of them badly to not at all injured.

A hawk lifted off, screeching, as Lian's run disturbed it. Lian ignored it, charging on.

No, it adds to her mystery because she's just recently abandoned so pretty much in the rp, a cheetah (or hyena if you wanna add a plot twist) would have to find and adopt her, help her through her amnesia. ^^

He sat down by a tree shade, the zebras yipping slightly and tilting their head. They seemed to walk closer to Nix, but she just ignored it. "Meh, these hyenas today" she grunted, pawing at the air, her hind legs in the air. Her head tilted slightly, staring at the gazelles. How wasn't she hungry after that chasing?

Saturday Roleplay
The day starts out pretty normal, apart from the fact that more strange happenings are going on outside the village walls as an oppose to inside. Near the entrance, Loner Ember is lying unconscious, near death. LostSoul, a rogue lion, walks over out of curiosity, but later leaves when he figures she doesn't wish to talk to him about her problems. Loner Vivos is wandering as well, lured over by the death scent lingering in the air from Ember. Within the village, Mist-Stalkers Zuri and Reno, Elder Kashi, Trainee Blue, and Zuri's Chameleon Friend are content in the business of the village. At the same moment, both Zuri and Reno detect Ember's scent that gives off the vibe of suffer. When Zuri jumps to the prospect of investigating, she is quickly hushed silent when a familiar face enters: Mist-Stalker Radhi. He has already found Ember, and is carrying her in to the Medics' den. Blue and Zuri delightfully greet him there, and slowly, Reno joins them. Radhi asks of his sister, Master Medic Katarina, to which Reno informs him that the maltese cheetah left to restock her store of herbs and water. Meanwhile, a lone African Wild Dog, Serria Li, is entering the village, looking to cause mischief. Her presence is not taken into account at first, however. At the same time, LostSoul enters as well, planning to use his healing skills to help Ember. For a moment, he is delayed by Reno and Radhi who are protectively blocking the Medics' den entrance, refusing to let him in in fear of what he plans to do, while Kashi tactfully tends to a scared and sobbing Ember. Lightly, Lost promises he'll do no harm, and they reluctantly let him pass. And like promised, he sits with Kashi and begins looking after the confused and frightened young cheetah with the odd, blue nose. Tired, Radhi bids farewell to Reno for the night and heads to the Mist-Stalkers' den for some sleep. As Reno looks over the darkening camp, he realizes Serria in the center of the village, and walks over to interrogate her. He is closely followed by Blue. When they find her, she gives vague answers to their questions. Before Reno can ask the final one, he is cut off by a loud voice across the village, calling to them. The clumsy hyena cub, Cyanide, is on the bridge over the village entrance, dangerously playing around up there. Reno is infuriated, and after warning Serria that he'll "deal with her later", he instructs Blue to follow him. He and his trainee are just climbing the walls of the village when Cyanide jumps. This scares Reno out of his fur, and he is angered to find that the hyena cub is perfectly fine when she hits the ground with not a scratch on her. She was just fooling around, like always. He, however, hurts himself jumping off the bridge, due to his injuries. After Serria unexpectantly leaves, Reno is left to sit with Cyanide and talk to her about how stupid she was. Through the whole lecture, she is laughing and not taking a word he says seriously. Reno finally tells her that he has seen many die around him, and warns her that for her to be the next victim, it will not only be bad for her, but for him too. In the end, he decides that just because he hurt himself jumping off a high roof when younger didn't mean the same thing would entirely happen again, and that perhaps, he should stop watching as closely and tensing at every movement.

So... Jessie Dagger, Silverdawn, Wolfy, and I took it upon ourselves to have a Wednesday RP... and it got a little longer and more serious than we thought it would. So... I decided to write a summary. XD
I know there's a place in the CM forum where summaries are posted. I didn't know how you planned on going about it yet, Frost. Show me with this, if you will. Lol.

Having dug a hole into it, Nariea, Sub of Storm Meter, has made a hiding place within the village wall. After going on a short hunting trip, she settles down for a nap as the wild dog Loner Serria Li comes back to the village to speak with Mist-Stalker Reno again. And a long discussion they indeed have, which eventually leads up to them exchanging names as Nariea sneaks in to steal food from the tribe's storage. Their conversation is promptly broken into by the strange lion LostSoul, who states his name as well. Soon, Serria is able to sense Nariea nearby by a scent that carries. Nariea is atop the village wall by now, up on the bridge above the entry. When prompted for a fight, she leaps down to oblige and take on Serria's challenge. Long story short, Serria gets badly wounded. LostSoul takes Nariea off the wild dog's paws for a moment, giving her a chance to recover. After mouthing off to the hyena, Reno walks over to check to see if Serria is okay. Having overheard his smart talk, Nariea rams him into the nearby boulder. In doing this, she all but injures his side, leaving him a little achy and dizzy from the fall. Nariea tears a part of Lost's ear off, and then declares her winning to Serria. Serria manages to rip a piece of fur from the hyena's muzzle before she leaves, however. Reno composes himself, and manages to drag Serria to the Medics' den where Lost treats her wounds. Serria is left angry and wanting revenge, she attempts to leave the den with Reno's feeble tries to stop her. Lost gets back from collecting water and cleaning out his ear just in time to talk some sense into the wounded dog. She reluctantly agrees, and wearily wanders back off to her nest to lie back down.

As my time's completely taken by my own roleplay, I don't feel I can balance another. So I'll be dropping out.
I also wasn't ever really comfortable with the roleplaying itself, didn't know what was going on, and everyone seemed preoccupied with established group members. There wasn't anything happening to draw me in.

A African Wild Dog named Serra Li had snuck out the cheetah's village to stretch her legs and try to track down the hyena that had attacked her earlier with the tuft of fur she had yanked from its nose. Lost had left the village earlier to rest in his own den at the watering hole, but he was awaken by the scent if a canine that was familiar to him. Mean while the African Wild Dog had walked to the river and stared down into the was in deep thought. Lost was raking through his mind to find the name that fit the canine, he knew that this canine he ad treated before. Then it came to him. Lost ran to the dog thinking she was hurt but all he found was that he was interrupting her thoughts. The dog popped to her feet growling not knowing it was Lost until he spoke. He checked her wounds and asked who let her out. Serria lied and said that Reno had and it went down from there. LostSoul and Serria Li got in a heated argument that got the attention of one of the Medic Named: Rith. She came in on the tail end of the argument about revenge. She approached Lost and they both exchanged formal greetings. Rith, pure as the breeze that comes and goes; and the LostSoul that wanders without a past. Serria sits on the other bank out of view listening to them.

Urgh, hey guys.
I feel really terrible about not coming on in aaaagessss, but I really do have other stuff going on, I actually don't have much time for any activities I have so much school work. That's why you won't have seen me around FH, DA or CM, I just have a massive painting assignment as well as a whole lotta other school assignments, which go towards my university grades. Now, if Wolf, Silver, or Jessie see anything wrong about the beginning of the summary, that was because I wasn't there, as the three of you know. Lol. I much prefer writing the summary when I have all the details in mind, which is why the part where I came in and on is a bit fuller. Tell me if you see any mistakes! Dx
July 28th - Saturday Roleplay
Within the village walls, Trainee Blue stumbles upon Cub Alex, of whom she's just meeting for the first time. They talk for a while, until interrupted by Loner African Wild Dog Zenuke, who stumbled upon the village. Blue threatens him, having grown a distrust for all canines alike, and tells him to leave. Noticing the commotion outside, Loner Serria leaves the Medics' den and is positively infuriated to see Blue picking a fight with another of her kind. Quickly, her and Blue prepare to fight one another, until the lion LostSoul intervenes and brings Serria back, keeping her from reopening any wounds and promptly scolding her for nearly getting herself killed. A fierce argument between them breaks out, concerning a debate on who had it harder in their past lives. Upon their arrival in the Medics' den, a sleeping Mist-Stalker Reno wakes up just in time to catch bits and pieces of their intense conversation before Serria storms out of the den. After brief consent from Lost, Reno follows her out, and he later finds her atop a rock beyond the village walls, where he sits at the base to speak with her and question her as to what her problem was. Serria explains that LostSoul "doesn't get it", or rather, her, and Reno tells her that Lost only needs closure, because he doesn't remember anything from his past (which haunts him), while Serria remembers clearly what happened to her friends and family and feels conflicted about it. This is beginning to remind Reno of his own past, but he has no time to get any of these thoughts out before Fletcher is brought into the conversation. Serria claims she knows more than he does about the mysterious Striped Hyena, and many more things, before telling Reno that Blue is watching them. And predictably, she had been after following them out of the village. Not wasting any time, Serria goes to the Trainee's hiding spot and picks her up in her jaws, carrying her over to Reno. Blue immediately takes refuge behind her mentor's forepaws as Serria begins to explain to them that Fletcher is actually Garland Tacitus of Storm Meter, and says that she had been spying in their territory to find this information out. Reno is doubtful at first, until Blue questions the African Wild Dog if he is a tanned, Striped Hyena, to which Serria responds with a yes. Totally jolted now, Reno and Blue watch as Serria heads back to the village. Blue is more determined than ever to kill Garland, while Reno is more interested in getting a conversation in with 'Fletcher' to see if what Serria said about him being the Storm Meter Sub was really true.

Yes. Serria has spontaneously blown Garlic's cover, which means he'll probably have some serious ripping to do to a certain canine's entrails and windpipe in the near future. >.> Reno's now suspicious. If Gar can fool him again, then I will personally deem him ruler of every troll in this RP. x3

Sorry for the double post but I wanted to post a summary of Sundays RP. :)
Zen and Serria are in the medic's den talking about what happened to their past. After some amount of talking Zen decides to go to sleep and Serria and Zen sleep. (In a doggy sleep pile :3) While LostSoul is thinking about what Serria said early that day. After some time of thinking Lost goes to the medic's den to sleep. Serria and Zen wake up early in the morning and find Lost waking up terrified. After a few short minutes of asking Lost what's wrong he runs off to get some air and think alone. While Lost is off thinking Serria and Zen go out hunting. After the day is done everyone calls it a night and sleeps.
I just figured they all went back to sleep later. :3 Did I do a good summary guyz?

Why does everything look so much more realistic in yours? Do you have FH+?

No, I have like 3 different mods all smashed together, I have Sully's Wolf Mod which has some lighting effects that you see on Zen, and I use only the Feline texture's from Delays retextures. Then ontop of all that I use Naturalistic, which makes the senery more real looking. If you want all the mods, I can find the downloads for them and post 'em on the site. But the hyena head marking has the cat nose still, so I may modify that for the group ;)

Personality: Obscurity's name would give you the idea that she's a dark and lifeless cheetah, am I right? But, oh, that would be a complete misstatement. Obscurity's name only reflects upon her black and silver pelt. As for her personality, she's normally the life of the party, bouncy, teasing, playful, and can be a bit snotty. She's always telling people to loosen up and have some fun. She can be very mischievous and a bit of a rebel. She's at that age, however, and can be catty at times. But don't let that fool you. Obscurity may be smooth and cool, but she's a complete tomboy. She loves to play-fight, and is often caught being a little too rough. Obscurity is a bit hard to anger, but if she is angry, everyone better unsheathe their claws, cause' things will get crazy. Obscurity is the violent kind when she gets mad. Not to mention her loads of sly remarks and the fact that she can back-talk you to tears. But don't be intimidated. If you befriend her, she's very loyal and a bit clingy, and obviously tons of fun.

@Jessie Dagger ~ She never actually left. While it's true that she doesn't come around for the RP anymore, she did have real-life issues at the time when she stepped down from leading the group, that was sure to make it difficult to maintain her normal activity as a normal member. When I last talked to her recently, it turns out she had taken a break from FH for awhile. Which explains her earlier absence, mostly.

The young cheetah took his place under the tree and stared up at the branches carefully, wondering if the other mist-stalkers weren't trying to get him as they trained. He went ahead and started digging a little dent so he can curl up inside, finally finishing after a few minutes, Haruka turned in circles inside the dent and curled up under the shade. Ears perked, his eyes slowly closed and soon enough, he was finally taking his good long nap.

Hey guys. I'm sorry to say that I think I'm going to have to leave this RP. It's been really fun and all, but I can't really seam to fit any of my characters into anything. Plus, I'm not as active as a should be and school is getting in the way of everything so I don't think I'd ever be able to be active as much as I hoped. :(

It's okay, you don't have to apologize, Talakie. You did give us fair warning of you having a different timezone from ours. It's also understandable that real life also took importance over the RP. It's too bad that you weren't able to join us during our RP days. :c
Maybe someday soon, when you have a little more free time, you can join us again. You're always welcome to come back anytime you want! :3 If coming in-game continues to prove fruitless because of the timezone issue, we always have the forum as an alternative for some of our roleplaying. Sorry to double post. I know it isn't in the application, but, I would prefer to give a RP sample as well.
-The dark hued brute, lowered himself towards the ground. Perhaps, the lions hadn't seen him. He knew better than to go out alone, but hearing of the slaughter of a nearby pack, he was a little testy. He lay motionless, attempting not to breathe. He wasn't afraid of a lion, but a pride of lions, was a scary thing, when alone. He lay flattened on the ground, as the lionesses padded nearby. He heard them speaking to one another about a Cheetah Tribe, that perhaps could be of help to them, in a fight against a local Hyena pack. His heart stopped. "Where they talking about his pack?" he thought. He knew he needed to warn the others. A fight against a pride this large could be devastating, if his pack was unprepared.
He waited quietly until the lionesses finished their meeting, and began to pad away. He stayed put until they were out of sight, before he pushed himself to his feet anxiously. He turned and began running as fast as his legs would go in the direction of his pack. He was greeted by his pack, halfway there. They had already been warned---

Fairily at par with his grandfather, Malcolm Jacul, who was really quite the sinister type. Small little inherited mannerisms can be spotted, though no one currently alive would know where to look for them. Reno was taught fairness, patience, and empathy from his father, Bruno, and these more positive traits shine through now and again. When they aren't, he can sometimes seem like a jerk. A big one, with little to no morals. He really is a cheetah's cheetah when the time arises for it, however, and he upholds oodles of respect for his superiors. When it comes to his job, he likes to keep things quick and silent. A clean kill is what he thrives for. Slow and messy just isn't his thing, so open combat certainly isn't, either. Otherwise, he's pretty reckless at any other attempt to do something outside of his rank, which can lead one on into thinking he's just being careless; he sometimes waits on steady paws until he forms a game plan in his mind, but at others, he leaps right in without thinking. Putting that aside, he also enjoys the company of cubs and Trainees, because it's when he puts words of encouragement and ease into good use. On occasion, it also gives him a chance to let loose and fool around. In the hard times, he doesn't relish in anything more.
It really is a more updated version of the old one, but I feel like the way I've been portraying him lately needed a personality update, because he doesn't exactly fit the first one I wrote as perfectly anymore. ^^;

Advancing quickly, the vultures scattered into the air landing on tree branches and cawing at her. Obviously wanting to get back to their meal. After the commotion settled down, she quickly ripped a fairly well sized chunk of meat from the wildebeest, and carried it off. Soon enough, the buzzards decided it was safe enough to go back down and proceed with their meal. Hopefully this slab of meat could hold her over until her next attempt to scavenge- or hunt- for food in the cruel blazing heat of the savannah.

anymore As I've updated the RP Summary on the first post with our most recent RP! (What would fit anyway...) Along with a couple other updates/modifications here and there.

We'll be accepting characters for all the ranks of the groups. (With certain exceptions still stated, of course.) As quite a few are terribly empty at the moment.

Saturday Roleplay - June 1st

On a seemingly eventless day, Sir Hamish Wyn of the Waxen Specters is headed back to his pride's camp when he comes upon the scent of an unfamiliar lion. He stops to investigate, drawing the attention of his Matriarch, Blanca Delmore, who promptly stalks over to watch what is to come in the shelter of some tall grass. Hamish connects the scent he smelled to the Loner, LostSoul, who has helped the cheetah Tribe on many occasions but is thus far completely new in relation to the lion pride who has entered the Valley to make their home. Hamish questions the opposite male on where he came from, to which Lost responds with a gesture to the den he resides in at the current point in time. In turn, he inquires as to where Hamish came from, and how long ago he arrived in the Grassland. The young Chief replies with a very vague answer, concerning where. Though he lets slip that he and the Specters have not been there long, and soon after follows it up with admitting it isn't just him in lonesome, but a pride full of lions. Lost asks how many lions reside in the pride, and if where they are is far from where the camp is located, fretting over the idea of a vicious run in. Hamish, again, answers shortly, stating that he's sure about five lions but can't remember the names of the others. He also says that they're not at all far away from the camp, though he knows better than to give anymore information than that. LostSoul, finally, asks who leads the pride, and Sir Wyn gives him the truthful answer. That earns the young male nothing but ridicule, which he doesn't take very kindly to, Lost unable to keep from laughing at the offbeat notion of the arrogant 'runt' leading a pride. Lost realizes the rudeness of this action and rather awkwardly takes his leave, abandoning an angsty Hamish to his thoughts. Not wasting any time, the sullen male turns tail and heads back home to inform his pride of the water source he found, which had primarily been the goal of the day for him.

To you, Niferno, and to you, Nubeees, it's true this thread hasn't been posted in in a very long time. Likewise, we haven't done any roleplays since that last one on June 1st of late year.
But, really and truly, I think about it everyday.
This RP is still very fresh in the minds of both FrostWynd and myself. She and I have been talking in a different game as of late, and there's a possibility it may be moved to there as well. Right now, we're not completely sure. But I just hope you know we haven't gone totally inactive.
