Tired of just Rping catching prey and being a warrior? Do you actually want to BE a warrior? Well, now's your chance! In Moonrise, you will be able to take the form of a warrior cat, join a Clan, hunt, raise kits, and much more! It is also 3D, with very realistic graphics!
The Maps~
This game will feature a vast expanse of maps, with many territories and Clans!
Character Creator~
There will be a variety of markings and fur colors. And, they will be very realistic! Along with that, you will have the ability to be a kit. If you start off as a Clan cat, you must go through kithood. However, you will be able to start as an adult rogue and join a Clan. You will also be able to have ripped ears, blind eyes, scars, and such. You will also have a custom meow!
Entering as a kit~
If you want to enter as a kit, a menu will pop up, desplaying all pregnant queens and their Clans. You can select one, and you will become that queen's unborn kit. The queen will have a gestation period of five days, the fourth and fifth being days that she is open for kits to select. If no kit selects her, she has a miscarriage.
Hunting~
This game will feature hunting, and will have lots of prey.
Joining a Clan~
If you are a rogue, there will be a Clans tab. Click it, and a menu will open, listing all Clans with an online leader. You can send a request, and the leader can accept.
Fighting~
This game will have PvP. It is Warriors for StarClan's sake.
Items~
Since you can be a kittypet, collars are available. Bone-collars are as well.
Picking up stuff~
You will be able to pick up kits, prey, and dead or injured cats.
Dying~
You are able to die in this game. If you die, you go to StarClan. Your cat is dead. It is still playable though.
Clans~
There will be a max of four Clans per map. These Clans will be pre-made. The first leaders will all be carefully chosen by admins. If the leader is inactive, the character will die, and the deputy will take over. If neither the deputy or the leader is active, an admin will choose a leader.
Rogue Groups~
You may form rogue groups. If the group is active for over two months, it will become an official Clan until it goes inactive.
Pregnancy in queens~
In order to become preggers, you will have the option to go over to your mate, click on them, and send a 'mate request'. The screen will blank, and WHOOP, preggers. To other cats, a black orb will form around you and your mate. There will be no mating action, since I know people will be immature about it.
Foxes and other predators~
Fox NPCs will be smart. Meaning, they can breed, and fight their own kind.
I am thinking of adding this fox system:
When the game is first released, four foxes will be spawned. Two male, two female. Same for all other predators. Players will be prohibited to attack predators until about 3 months after the game is released to give them a chance to breed. They will also be able to travel across maps.
This makes the game more natural, and foxes won't randomly appear out of nowhere. This also has the ability to balance the world in a way... if the foxes overpopulate, the cat and prey population might deteriorate. If the fox population goes down, prey population goes up. It will also be possible to drive foxes to extinction, if enough warriors were to decide to try and wipe them out. And foxes must also eat to survive, like the players, and they can also die of natural causes.
Scent Trails~
Scents:
Rodent- Yellow
Amphibian/Reptile- Blue
Bird- Brown
Fox- Dark Orange
Badger- Gray
Enemy Clan- Red
Your Clan- Green
Wolf- White
Snake- Purple
Also, when you stand by a scent trail, it will say exactly what/who you are scenting. Ex:
Mouse, male, age 2 years, healthy.
Sagewhisker, tom, 19 moons, healthy, ReedClan Warrior
Clan borders~
Clan borders... the first Clan leader will choose the Clan scent color. Even when not in hunting mode, it will be slightly visible, and when you go near it it will say something like this:
ReedClan border, freshly marked.
Birthing?~
Yes. This game will have a birthing sequence, as births are described in the Warriors books. Be mature about it, please. If anyone is caught being immature about birthing queens, you will be warned, and possibly banned. Birthing will be very close to real-life kitting. It just adds to the realism. .-.
Blood?~
YES. This game will have blood. Warriors has blood in it. Kitties die. Kitties get cut open. There will be blood. It's supposed to be realistic. However, there will be no guts spilling out, because that's just gross.
StarClan and Dark Forest~
StarClan will be there. So will DF. Things will work liek dis:
If you go to StC when you die, you will have access to the 'Prophecy Pool'. This is a pool that gives out prophecies created by the leaders, and only cats who were important in Clan history or something can view it in death. StC leaders will be able to control weather, make prophecies, and such. And no, I don't mean Clan leaders who die. I mean the leaders of StarClan:

Flame
Broken
Water
Sand
Swift
Moon
Reed
Thistle
Mountain
Canyon
Thistle

Those will be the names of the StC leaders, and only mods, game designers, and admins can play them.
Dark Forest: If you die and go here, you will basically just be able to wander around a forest for evil cats. Battle for fun, hunt and kill for fun, walk in others' dreams, train the living, and so on. There WILL be StarClan, and there WILL be Dark Forest, and StC cats WILL be allowed to visit the living.
Aging~
We will have an aging and time system.
One RL week- One game moon
12 RL hours- One full game day cycle
24 RL hours- two game days
You will become an apprentice at 6 weeks RL. That is 6 moons game time. Apprentice to warrior is at 10 weeks. Warrior to senior warrior is at 50 weeks. Senior warrior to elder is at 100 weeks.
Character limit-
I have got a ton of questions on this. We can have multiple characters. The maximum is 5.
Breeds?~
Well... there won't really be 'breeds'... Instead, there'll be markings. Like.. if you want to be a specific breed, you'll get to play around with all the bars and stuff to make it look like that breed. Like, weight, length, and stuff, nose length, muzzle, all that crap. Everything'll be scalable, even the tail, and eyes. If you wanted to make a flat-faced cat, like a persian, you'd have to:
1. Broaden the face, make it really wide.
2. Make muzzle length as small as possible.
3. Make the eyes huge.
4. Make the tail fat.
5. Make fur length very long.
If you wanted a.. say, siamese, you'd have to:
1. Make the face kind of thin, with a somewhat long muzzle.
2. Make the tail, and the overall cat itself very skinny.
3. Make the ears large.
4. Make the eyes somewhat large.
5. Make the fur really short.
6. Use the 'siamese' markings.
And so on. Derp. Not only does it depend on markings, but on overall body build as well.

Okay, so... I have found a cat model off of the internet that was... pretty crappy. So, I downloaded it and edited it to look better, and made the new models out of it. Keep in mind, this model is NOT Lifeon's, though without the crappy texture it looks like it. Now, I'm only a beginner of programming, I do scratch, and I'm learning the Windows Programming.

I'm not very fond of Warrior Cats, but you made this sound incredibly fun and it seems like something I'd enjoy playing. I love the concept as well. I can help with the art and graphics if you want, as well a come up with terrain ideas. Can't mesh maps, though, but as said, I could help with the land layouts if you want. I'd be glad to help.

i would love to help in some way, but alas i know nothing of coding and all that other stuff. if someone could teach me though, i'd be on my way cause i'm a quick learner, and become pro at anything real fast. but, i could be able to draw character model bodies on paper, then some programmer messes with it. lol. you'll also want models or whatever you'd call it for the following actions ;) (besides walking and running)

If you're still looking for staff, my sister can do really good textures if she has something to draw over, adding another layer with GIMP of course. I love this game.<3 So glad I was introduced to it and became a part of it. I mean, some people don't participate in games in progress until it's out because it's boring just waiting, but when I first joined I was surprised at how lively it was with new members joining pretty much every day, games like 'Who's That Warrior Cat?' And all he people constantly RPing on the Roleplay board. So to the point, I'm just so happy to be a part of this.

The idea itself is brilliant. I mean, realistic, 3D warrior cats, the ability to change so many things on the model, and a custom meow. Couldn't have asked more.

Also, I read back a few pages- is the release date November '13 - January '14, or November '14 - January '15? I hope it's the first one, because this sounds insanely epic.
Also, as my message to the staff on my registration says, I can help with prophecies and stuff, as well as ideas for the world terrain. This isn't in my form, but I've created and modded WC RPs, as well as MC servers and such, MANY times, so if you need Staff, I'd be willing to send in a form. ^-^
Also, I love how there's a 5 char limit. Just saying. There are a few cats a I want to create, my old OCs who're desperately in need of some action. I want to list them, but at this rate I'm getting a little too enthusiastic. But yes, a 5 char limit works perfectly with the OCs I want to use!
Also, may I ask, do you start out as a newborn, or are you only a newborn if a queen has kits, and you have some sort of option to play as one? I'd love to have one kit character, but having to wait a month/month and a half IRL would get pretty boring.
One last question (though there are many, many more to come, as I am very inquisitive XD): If you're a newborn kit/kit and you leave camp, will you get banned from the game? I'm fine either way, but some mischeif would be fun every now and then, and I definitely like the idea of being able to sneak out and have fun rather than having to wait a month before I can even leave camp.

Can you be blind, deaf, or mute? I have an OC, Thunderpaw, who I never actually finished RPing to be a warrior. He was mute. However, following along with how cats like Jaypaw had a chance at being gifted by seeing in dreams and going into others' dreams, he had a way of communicating through thought. Of course, I wouldn't RP that, but I'm just curious if there are possiblities to being blind or deaf... or mute.
Is this game mostly about RPing, or is it about being a Warrior, if that makes sense? What I mean is that are we going to be organizing hunting parties and having events like prophecies and stuff, where we actually communicate OOC what our cat will be doing, or will it just be a thing like WC:UT? (Of course, more advanced.)
Will there be a chat box? Or chat bubbles by our cats? Or any form of communication? I'd think there would be, but some games are weird and disallow them. Not necesarrily a bad thing, but chatting is definitely more convenient.
Adding on to the RP thing, would we be able to use non-warriors related subjects? For example, can we have times where we just chill and talk, or would it always be living the life of a Warrior? I like both, but for the latter, it would probably be a good idea to have some sort of chatbox for OOC stuff. On the other hand, having OOC moments might get out of hand, so Warriors-only and a chatbox for OOC might be a good idea. Or some kinda of party/whisper/group thing for OOC.
Will there be a filter in the chat? I don't want to be playing with my parent watching over and then someone drops the f-bomb. That's not good. XD So filters = good.

If you need an animator, I'm a 3D specialist certified in production, modeling, rigging, animating, and texturing(I know how to texture things, but I can't seem to do good textures worth a damn ;D; )
I use Cinema 4D, but I'm not sure if it would be compatible with the work you're doing. Even when you know how to 3D model and such, Blender is a nightmare. But I could do my best to learn it if absolutely necessary. But If you need any modeling work done that should be easy enough as I can save any models I make as an .obj and that's generally pretty universal.
Anyway, if you're interested, toss me a PM.

They changed the email AND the password, and I can't get into my account, so I had to make a new one, which I used to act as an undercover troll to try and gain my password back, but... I failed.. Not true at all. If you actually thought to look at the game diaries, we have a ton of progress now, much more than the last batch of staff produced. The last "Big rebellion" was a prettyyyyyyy long time ago and has since been fixed. The most recent "rebellion" we had was barely much at all, the last staff left pretty quickly. Sure, they screwed the forum a bit but that was quickly fixed in only a few hours. They still harrass the staff via Skype but nothing big has really erupted on the forum since they left and the site was cleaned up a bit.

Never now, there was a big rebellion and the team split drastically.

Not true at all. If you actually thought to look at the game diaries, we have a ton of progress now, much more than the last batch of staff produced. The last "Big rebellion" was a prettyyyyyyy long time ago and has since been fixed. The most recent "rebellion" we had was barely much at all, the last staff left pretty quickly. Sure, they screwed the forum a bit but that was quickly fixed in only a few hours. They still harrass the staff via Skype but nothing big has really erupted on the forum since they left and the site was cleaned up a bit.

You have given me new hope for this game. I thought development had stopped and the project was scrapped, but turns out you're still working on it! Keep up the good work, I'll be sure to join! :)

I'd like to point out that because of a message the staff of the game has gotten from Erin Hunter, they have to drop the whole concept of Warrior Cats and start a new concept. But they have kept all the files and now the game has stepped out of it's boundaries.

We're going for a new approach on the whole game. It is no longer 'warriors' of anysort, but more like feral feline survival after humans have vanished. This means you'll have more to explore and little to no restrictions on what you can and cannot do. While this is still in the hands of the staff, we are moving away from Warrior Cats all together to create our own, original game.

Attica is NOT the "new Moonrise". It was made by former Moonrise staff, but Attica and Moonrise are two separate things.
