I have everything closed but my browser. I'm looking to see if I can figure out how to allow FH through my firewall. As for my router's firewall.. I can't do anything with that.
Holdup, I can connect now. All of my characters still have markings, too.. Looks like I might be able to fully come back after all! I'll expand on this in a bit.
Yep, it works now! My characters are all still there, too. I guess this can be locked now. O:

You don't need Wine or XQuartz unless you are running the game on a Mac. When redownloading the game, the download should reset any files that you're missing, unless it's a file that doesn't come with the download.
So I don't need anything.. But do any other programs affect how it runs?
I'll reinstall it again I guess... This it like.. The 6th time aha

Hmm, do you have the markings.cfg file placed into your main Feral Heart folder?
Yes.. But like I said above, I did manage to get them to work by changing tail types/main/ears/etc. But it's only a temporary fix.
Quick question: Do you know if I'm supposed to have anything installed? I know that I had to install XQuartz or Wine for the Mac version.. Just making sure.

I made 100% sure that I uninstalled it correctly and restarted immediately afterwords.. I also tried changing the rendering system. I don't think there are actually any missing files now.. It seems like they're all there now.

Oh, they just don't show up. It's not the white blobs you're talking about.

I managed to get them to show up.. But I'm not sure if I want to have to mess with it all the time.. Just kinda annoying.
And I still can't connect. I'm pretty sure that it's my firewall/router's firewall.. But I don't really know how to mess with that.

I guess I'll do some more digging and stuff.. Maybe look through some logs or something.
I did get some of the body markings to show up for a little while by messing with the tails.. Huh

It may not have damaged your computer, but you shouldn't use the Mac download on a Windows, because I think there would be subtle changes in the folder that can mess your whole game up. xD
Well I didn't use the Mac download, I just compared the files. I had it on my Mac at one point aha
Here's a quick question: Did your copy have grass.object in the object folder? Because mine didn't uhh
Oh and I tried installing mass markings. It didn't change anything.. So it's not in the config or images. At least, I'm pretty sure it isn't...

You're not trying to use Mac files for a Windows computer(or the other way around) are you? And alright. I hope we can get somewhere tomorrow. Soo maybe I was using the mac files on my Windows computer aha.. It didn't hurt anything, though. O:
And I'm not at home right now, so I can't really mess with it. I'll post back in a few hours.
