Introduction / *Crawls back to FH.*
« on: April 29, 2013, 07:54:46 am »
I can't tell you how nice it is to be back on the forums! I dunno how long it's been, but it feels like it's been a while. :o
Anywhoooo. Hi. I'm back. Yes, yes, many of you probably won't know who the fluff I am. Which, of course, is okay. That's why I'm posting here, to tell you a little about myself! c: I've changed my attitude a bit since I was last on! Do you like long posts? Well.

waitwut.
So what was I saying? Oh yeah. :U

It started about, eh, I'd say three/four years ago I discovered FeralHeart. That was after I'd been playing WolfQuest for a few years, so I freaked out with excitedness when I got here. Everything was a bit overwhelming at first, making a dramatic change of game concept from WQ to FH, but after a while I got used to it and ended up really enjoying it; The ability to be more creative with characters, the places to explore, and the people to meet!
(We has a great community here, y'all.)
Months passed and sure enough I became addicted, but in a sorta good/sorta bad way. I was spending too much time on the computer and not being social enough D:
I shortened my time on the comp for a bit, and then over the summer I was on my laptop one day, eating soup, and... WOOPS! Hot soup, all over my computer. All the saved maps, presets, and other magicalness was gone. Then, for my birthday I got a new laptop, and vowed to never eat/drink by the computer again. *Casually hides bottle of water sitting by me.*
I used the rest of my summer to devote it to FH, and then, when school started up again...

I disappeared.
Vanished from the forum.
Faded away.
Shriveled to a crisp of nothing.
(Too far? Hm.)

I got so wrapped up in schoolwork I had no time here! And then for some odd reason the FH game no longer loaded, and I lingered in the FH Chat area all this time. (I used my sister's account a lot: Shh.) Feeling the need to get involved again, I tried redownloading it for the second time and it worked! Now I'm back fully! TADAAAAA! *Throws confetti.*
Now let's move onto some other shtuff. Oh, how about:

Likes
Roleplaying (Liek, all deh tiem. No kiddin'.)

Game Suggestions & Ideas / Some Random Ideas
« on: September 21, 2012, 11:58:42 pm »
Hello again everyone! :3

1) Is anyone else annoyed at how you have to go back to the character editor just to change your name, maybe a marking or something? Well I was, and then I thought of how cool it would be to have an edit screen in-game where you can simply change a misspelling in your name or something without needing to go all the way back to the character editor.

2) More movements. By this I mean a simple tail wag or tucking in your tail. It really would be nice for the RP-ers, and chatters alike. OR interactions with another player! Such as something simple like a high-five or maybe touching noses. (The touching noses thing might look too much like kissing and people might end up abusing it, but I added it anyways)

3) Swimming! My characters look so odd when they're just running in place underwater. It would be better if when you stopped moving you just floated there or something so it would look a tiny bit more realistic.

And that's all! Please feel free to tell me what you think, I value everyone's opinion.

Stories / .:The Unseen:. (Prologue)
« on: August 18, 2012, 07:35:22 am »
This is a tale about an abandoned hotel. Humans are long gone. Wolves inhabit the empty, desolate streets of Seattle. Rumours are spreading of a wolf named Soul, who is a powerful wolf that can compel the minds of any being. Many do not realize she has a brother, Demitri, who also has the power to compel and plans on controlling the wolves of the fallen city. Soul has inhabited this hotel for many years as well as many other lones. Things start getting strange in the hotel, and many are leaving for the sake of their lives. Soul stays, however, and is soon left alone to fight off the presence in this abandoned hotel. But is she really alone?

Tune in to read The Unseen, a frightening thriller that is a mixture of action, horror, and a little bit of gore. Comment below if I should make this into a story. (I know, prologue was a bit short. I didn't have much else to say o3o)

Stories / Another FH CreepyPasta~
« on: August 12, 2012, 09:13:38 pm »
Hiya guys! I've been getting in to this CreepyPasta stuffs, so I settled on making another :3 (This is a sequel to my first Pasta, if you want to read the first one click that thing: http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=25335.0 )

Part 1
On one windy afternoon after I had gotten home from school, I trudged up the stairs and into my room. Quickly throwing my backpack to the ground and flopping onto the bed, I sighed. What should I do? There's no way I'm going to do my homework right now. I sat up and moved over to my desk, opening the lid to my laptop and logging in. I went on Youtube and spent an hour watching cat videos. Again. This always happens to me. Bored now, I double clicked on the FeralHeart logo and messed around in South Pole. It was a matter of minutes until a notification showed up telling me to restart my computer. I shrugged and clicked "OK", letting the laptop do its thing. As I waited I stepped out of my room and slid down the railing, almost falling at the very bottom. My stomach growled and I trudged into the kitchen, setting two toaster waffles in the toaster. I calmly waited, sitting on the counter and staring at the clock on the microwave as it gently ticked by. DING, the toaster cried, shooting the two waffles towards the ceiling. To be honest, it scared the crud out of me. But it always happens, so I don't care too much. I ran back up the stairs, waffles in hand, and opened the door. My computer was sitting there, all normal. I went back on to FeralHeart and wandered South Pole again. There it was again.

R has arrived.
(Username) has abandoned.
(Username) has abandoned.
(Username) has abandoned.

I quickly moved the cursor towards the exit button. It wouldn't move. It wouldn't respond when I pressed "Esc" either. My last hope was to run towards the Atlantis or Lonely Cave portals. The first one I saw was Atlantis, and I slammed down on the "E" and "W" key to get there before "R" did.
I was having no luck today.
There he/she was. The same black wolf with glowing neon eyes, no pupils. He sat there at the entrance to the portal, waiting for me. It was only then I noticed it. Paws were sticking out of the snow. Some white, some black. Some neon. All different colors. There were no name tags on any of them. Only "R" and I did. Just plain agitated now, I quickly typed into local:

<RandomName> Who are you? What do you want from me?
(Username) has abandoned.
(Username) has abandoned.

<R> I only want a friend.
I would have felt bad for him. But I didn't. He broke my freaking computer screen!
<RandomName> Leave me alone!
<R> I just want to play. Everyone else doesn't like me.

That must explain why it always says (Username) has abandoned. "R" stood up and walked closer to my character.
<RandomName> Please don't damage my computer again.
<R> I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. Will you play with me?

(Username) has abandoned.
(Username) has abandoned.

<RandomName> No. Go away.
"R" was still walking towards me when I said that. My computer screen went static for a moment, but came back on. When the FH screen popped up again, I saw "R" laying with his head on his paws. Right next to the wolf was two paws sticking out of the snow.
It was my character.

*Part 2 is coming soon, so stay tuned*

Game Help / Getting in to FeralCity
« on: August 12, 2012, 12:03:03 am »
I downloaded FeralCity the other day (Thanks Red) and have tried getting in ever since with no luck. I turned my water reflection down all the way and brought the viewing distance to 0, but it still won't let me in! I've heard there's things you can download to help prevent lagginess and such but I can't remember where I can get it. Would anyone mind giving me the link to the download or suggesting other things I could do to get in that super amazing map? I have a Mac, so I don't know if that changes anything or not. Please help.

Stories / FH CreepyPasta (Inspired by Minuet and PieStar)
« on: August 10, 2012, 06:45:15 am »
Alrighteh... I was looking around on the forum and saw these random CreepyPasta stories and got the chills. Even though I was sorta freaked out, I was also inspired to create one of my own. So here goes :3

It was around 1 in the morning, I think. I was supposed to be sleeping, but for some reason I couldn't get to sleep. I moved out of bed and settled myself by my desk, opening the lid to my laptop. I blinked for a moment and soon enough my eyes adjusted. Thank god the keyboard was lit up or there would be no way I could type my password. As the computer logged me in, I moved the cursor about the screen, contemplating what to do. "Hmm... I haven't been on FeralHeart in a while..." I trailed off, double clicking on the FH logo. It quickly loaded to my surprise and I logged in on my favorite character. I wandered about the Cape for a while bit finally settled on Flourite. It was nighttime, the only time of day I can be in this map due to the numerous amounts of players here. It was fairly empty by the Cape Portal as usual. I sat and stared at the chat box that was filled with people talking in General. "To join this role-play meet (Random Name) at the Stone Bridge!" I saw, suddenly interested. I pressed the W key and made my way over to Stone Bridge. As I was swimming in the water I continued to watch the chat box. Before I knew it this person with the username "R" had joined. (Sorry if anyone actually has the user "R" xD) They spoke in general first, and it read: "RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
I frowned. Darn spam, I thought. But afterwards no one spoke. The arrival chat box was still going except all it was saying was (Username) has abandoned. (Anotherusername) has abandoned. But that was all it said. No local. No general. Just (blahblah) has abandoned. "What the flip? It's never said that before," I murmured in a low tone. By now I was fairly close to Stone Bridge. "Let's hope (Whatevertheuserwas) hasn't 'abandoned'," I told myself with a chuckle. There was no one there. I mean no one. I sat at the center of the bridge and looked about. I gasped when I looked in the water. Down at the bottom was all of the wolves and lions that were in Flourite. They were laying on their side at the very bottom. I used the arrow keys to look back up to see my wolf character. "Holy crud!" I exclaimed. And there was another wolf. It was a complete black with glowing neon eyes. Just sitting right next to my character. Hmm. Nice Mod, I thought to myself. It didn't say anything, but it looked up at the me, as if it was really staring at me through the screen. And then, I looked at the chat box. It was from "R" in whisper mode.

<R> You're next.
And then, in one quick move, it stood up and pressed it's two front legs on my screen, it's neon yellow eyes staring into my soul practically. It gave an eerie smile and my screen went static, and the glass cracked and fell onto the keyboard.
"What."
"The."
"Fluff."
Completely paranoid now, I picked up the broken laptop, opened my window, and flung it through, shutting it tight again and locking it. Just to be safe, I shut the blinds too.
Many days later, I was able to get the computer fixed, and now I am back on FeralHeart. I have never been in Flourite since. My favorite character also vanished, too. It is no longer in my character selection, as if someone deleted it.
All the evidence has been removed.

FIN
*Based off of my imagination*

Screenshots / Looking For A Good Laugh? o3o(TONS of photos.)
« on: August 10, 2012, 05:58:07 am »
LOL Okay. Well, this does include screenies but is also a story. So Mods, please feel free to move this to wherever you think is best. :3
Anyways, I was really bored last week. I have no idea how to work photoshop and Powerpoint was the fanciest I could get. I decided to make a comic sort of thing that is really stupid.
**WARNING** Content may be too cheesy and dumb for some viewers. Ready? Here we go.

Credit to Red for the map I used for the cave. :3
And no, that is not an actual website.
And yes, that was extremely weird and very unprofessional.
Let me know if I should make something else just as odd. Maybe even a little more.
o3o!

Game Suggestions & Ideas / Sort of just bird walking here...
« on: August 09, 2012, 03:18:37 am »
Hellur to all of the wonderful people of FeralHeart! I was browsing the Game Opinions and Ideas Forum and thought of a few cool ideas. :3

When I was looking at LordSarugaha's post about male and female distinction (Great idea btw), this random thought popped up into my head (Totally irrelevant to what he was talking about). I'm constantly having a hard time getting the right colors on my character, so what if they provided a list of color codes (Or whatever you might want to call them) Giving the not-so-basic colors; Purple, pink, grey, brown, etc. etc.

But then I imagined: Maybe giving popular color combinations if you're stumped on what to color your charrie as! But that wouldn't necessarily have to be in-game; It might be fun for people to submit their favorite color combos on a forum topic!

And then I was thinking: If only the head, body, and tail markings could be different colors from each other. Example, The head markings purple and body markings blue. I would figure it would be a lot of hard work for Kov and Raz to do though.

So anyways, this is just me randomly going off into space here. If you have any suggestions or thoughts about this just comment below. o3o

Game Help / Halp! Item's won't show up!
« on: August 06, 2012, 10:45:06 am »
Hellur again.
You see, I downloaded Ringo and Delay's item pack (looks amazing by the way) and have done everything correctly. I go into FH and create a character but under the Items thing is empty! Where did they go?! I would try redowloading FH, but does that mean I have to redownload all of my presets too? I'm desperate to get my paws on those amazing items. ;3; Please help me.
