Game Help / Map problem

Alright, so. I'm dealing with something and it's just.. bothering me. Dx
I decided to go to the Plains, and now it's telling me that it "Failed to connect to map server" and for me to retry.
I have clicked on "ok" to retry yet.. it just stays on the loading screen for a long time.

I can log in fine, I can select my character fine. It's just my main character is stuck and I have no idea how to get him out there. Dx
