Species / Unnamed Species (I need help naming it!)
« on: July 03, 2014, 09:01:24 pm »
Sorry, I may be a bit lazy with this, because I finished it earlier but then I got logged out and had to start all over again. Stupid glitch. T_T

Summary in a Sentence: NAMEHEREs are a species of wolf that have powers fueled by feelings and their coat colors change over time.

Life Cycle
Pups are born with a grey pelt, black markings, a black mane, sometimes a white underbelly (if not then it's the same color as their pelt), and a white/black tail tip depending on if they are male or female. Males have black tail tips while females have white tail tips. Pups live with their parents until they are teens, at which time they are old enough to leave the den, have pups, and discover their powers. When they get a mate, their coat turns a random dark color. As adults, they learn how to control their powers. When an adult has a pup, their dark coat color becomes very bright; the same color that they are when they use their powers. When they get older, their markings, mane, and tail tip if they are male turn grey and their bright pelt gets lighter and less bright.

Powers
There are two types of powers: positive and negative. Positive powers are safer and more powerful than negative powers, although there are some negative ones that are useful. The only positive power is the power of happiness, which transforms the whole wolf. They grow feathered wings the same color as their pelt, which also changes to a bright color (unless it's already bright if they had a pup). There are many negative powers: Rage, hatred, and fear. Fear is the safest but is also the weakest; it happens involuntarily when the NAMEHERE is frightened. Fear and hatred don't have a transformation. Rage, however, does have one, but it will take over the body of the NAMEHERE. The rage transformation is what you would expect: red dragon wings, darkish red pelt, and red black slit eyes. When in this state, the NAMEHERE will kill everything in sight.

Pictures (Note: This is a purple female. The color revealed when it gets a mate can be any color, just dark, same with when it gets a pup or transforms except those two can be bright)

Species / Vogelmadras
« on: June 30, 2014, 06:38:26 pm »
Vogelmadras are a cross between birds and wolves. (The word "vogel" means bird in German and "madra" means dog in Irish. I chose those two languages because the countries that use them make up most of my heritage) They are very small and long winged wolves; at full size they are no bigger than a wolf pup. Vogelmadras rely on their sense of sight and smell more than hearing, as their ears are very small.
Their behavior depends on what kind of vogelmadra they are. They prefer to fly instead of walk and live in trees, or live on the ground and live in dens, depending on what type of bird they are half of. For example, ostrich vogelmadras are huge, flightless, and fast. Penguin vogelmadras are also flightless and live in cold areas eating fish. Macaw vogelmadras live in warm, tropical areas. Like birds, they have a "thumb" talon behind their paws that give them the ability to pick things up and perch on a thick tree branch.
Vogelmadras also act like wolves, too. They live in packs and have a territory. All vogelmadras can eat meat, so they hunt for deer or small mammals. (If they are part plant-eating bird, then they can also eat plant life) Vogelmadras also howl to communicate long distances, or just for fun. They can make any sound that a bird and a wolf can make.

They are born without wings, about the size of a pup. Over time, as they age, their wings start to grow and as teens they can fly.

To be considered a vogelmadra your character must meet these requirements:
- They can be the size of a normal wolf, but only the ostrich one gets to be the largest.
- Their ears must be the smallest they can be.
- It has to be winged, unless it's a flightless bird-type vogelmadra or a newborn.
- Only use thin tail, cat tail, or tailless.
- Manes and tufts are fine.
- You can make up your own bird type if you can't find a bird you would like the vogelmadra to be related to.
- The nose must be the same color as the pelt, so that it doesn't have a wolf/dog nose.
- Name must be like this: Name VM or Name F/M VM (VM stands for Vogelmadra; replace "Name" with whatever name it has), or put that it's a vogelmadra in the bio. For either one you must say that the species was created by PurpleLovezz in the bio.

Example of turning a character into a vogelmadra:

After

NOTE: THE VOGELMADRA NO LONGER HAS TO BE THIS SMALL. THESE ARE OLD PICTURES FROM WHEN THEY HAD TO BE SMALL.

Forum Discussion / Re: Story Behind Your Username
« on: June 30, 2014, 05:27:17 pm »
My username has a pretty interesting story, although it's not that long. Back in the time when I didn't even know about this game, I played a game called FreeRealms. (It got shut down on March 31st but there are rumors that it's coming back TODAY OR SOMEWHERE NEAR THAT!!! I'M SO EXCITED) My name on there was Sarah321, but I got bored of it so I decided to change it. I thought, "Hey, I love purple, so..." I thought of the name "PurpleLove". It was taken so I added a "z" but that was also taken, and I added a second. It worked, and that became my name. I played the game for a little more than a year after that, until it closed in March. Now, to remember the first MMO game I ever played, the game that introduced me to the gaming world itself, I am and will be using the name "PurpleLovezz" on almost every game I play or sign up for. :)

Site/Forum Help / Re: Icon Problem

I think the file size is to big hun. You may need to shrink it down a bitz.

Ok, but the only way to do that is to make the actual picture smaller, which will make the quality kind of bad, but I guess I can deal with that. thx
Whelp, I can't resize it. When I go to the website that I created it on it says the file is too big. What a surprise. XD

I can't split it into individual pictures and redo it, either, because it STILL says it's too big. So, no spinning Lila. D: (That's my main character; she's in my icon and my signature)

Site/Forum Help / Icon Problem (Fixed! :D)
« on: June 29, 2014, 01:09:43 am »
I saw this one guy who had a GIF for an icon, so I worked a long time and made one of my character spinning. When I tried to use it as my icon, it said there was an error. It was a big file, about 6 something MB or whatever, (That's big for a GIF, I think XD) Why won't it work?

Update: Ok, it's fixed. Thx :)

Characters / Re: All of my characters (Help with Exporting Glitch!)
« on: June 27, 2014, 03:36:16 pm »
You cant export characters themselves, just presets.
WHAT. D:

HELP! I can't export any characters! When I recreate my characters in the preset maker and click export, it does nothing. When I put a preset onto it (one from the "my_presets" folder) and click export, it works, but I really want to export my own characters!!! I know I can edit the preset in some photo editing thing but I have absolutely no experience and I hate those presets anyway, since nobody can see what you really look like. I want to export the characters I created in the preset maker. Please help D:

UPDATE: Ok, I know that it just doesn't work. Maybe it'll get fixed someday. :/

Characters / Re: All of my characters

No, it's not a preset on the first character, or any of the other ones. She has regular markings, because I don't like presets. Nobody can see what you really look like with a preset on, or if you have markings from a mod. :/ the only mod I used was the better wolf shading mod. If you want one in a different color then sure you can have one but don't give it to anyone else and you have to include my name somewhere if you post it saying I made it, or have my name on your profile saying I made it if you use it as your main character.
