Thank you, but I have already tried this. It's not just the maps that are black. The character creation/select screen and login screen are black as well.

I just installed the new update of FeralHeart. I ended up uninstalling all versions and then installing the 1.15 version again. I can load it up fine, but the background is completely black. There are no duplicate files that i can see. I also don't have any mods installed. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can fix this? I really want to see the update!

thanks for the reply. i actually figured it out, i just retyped the material file and it said 'cannot find file' or whatever it is, then i just hit update and it worked!?

i just downloaded an item for my map, a set of ribs. I extracted it to get a materials file, mesh file and texture. the texture isnt working coz the ribs are white. where do i put the texture file? what do i do i have no idea!?!!?? anything is appreciated..need answers ASAP

Game Help / HELP ME!!! BLACK SCREEN

i installed NORMAL fh on my old computer about 5 months ago. the computer is a bit old and runs on windows XP. the game works absoloutely fine. so...
i just bought a new computer and laptop. both are quite new and have windows 7 and large graphics cards. I downloaded NORMAL fh on both of them. in the startup screen, the hills and water have no trees or flowers or anything. When i go to choose my character all i see is the buttons and my chara. When i begin to play the game, all i see is characters and the buttons down the bottom. everything else is BLACK. PLEASE HELP i love this game! its the best! and now i cant play
things i'v tried:
* uninstling and reinstalling using the game's uninstaller.
*ownloading the lonely cave map, put into exports, and try to 'go home'. when i try that it just sais 'return to ?' and then sais map server not found.
there's no help ANYWHERE so i need help pleeeeaaase! it will be very appreciated and i await ur reply! i will be checking back here every minute i can!
