See there we go, my problem was poked at. Thank you guys lmao that is all I wanted.

It's either that we have a login page or we take down the game completely. We don't have many direct solutions to the problem since the "hackening" that took place appears to be directly linked to an issue in the game client itself and not the server, we cannot fix it in a proper way so it works as before. You must understand that we cannot really keep the game running as before either when people could pretty much go on any account if they know how to get by this, we already had this happen once and it caused confusion and abuse of staff accounts and this is just after it taking place for an hour or two.

The login page is to keep peoples accounts used by only those who know what the login information for them are, and avoid abuse that would surely happen. If anyone has a better idea we gladly hear it, but that must be an idea that doesn't ignore the fact that we must have a system close to the login page we have now, we will not leave the game up and online and let any derp go on any account the want in the game.

Users must also understand that we can modify the server side part of the game since that's what we need to run the game so you actually play it online with others people, and of course we can edit the game like any of you guys with mods and fancy sparkles, but as far as actual game updates goes we cannot do anything that requires tinkering with how it works. General was a server sided edit, and if you haven't taken note the function still exists in the actual game, but has been disabled to yet again, lower abuse and problems game wise.

It all makes sense if you give some time to think about it, but it's easy and tempting for some to think the worse. Hopefully this will get thoughts like these a bit out of the picture.

No no, I get all of this now. However you guys are still not addressing the issue I've brought up now for the fifth time. I get that we need the log in, it makes sense however. It logs people out at random times. The entire game is based around rping and socializing however, how does one do that if they are constantly worrying about being kicked off the game?

Aye, however it has its major flaws that are not being addressed. Its a good security measure, yes. But it's not doing very well at its own job of keeping people online. And in some cases, logging them in.

Well this isn't really a new thread, seeing as 50 other people are posting about it. As you know, FH has been giving people erorr 500. And I am getting it as well, its becoming rather irritating. Before someone comments saying "oh its your browser" or "oh its your internet" because I see that on everyones help thread, its not. Its really not. I'm sorry if I sound mean but I'm very miffed at the moment.

I get it, I do. I get that the huge hacking thing happened and it ended up with this whole new log in. I commend the FH teams hard work on putting it together to keep the game up. However. It has major issues that do need to be addressed that are not being addressed. Such as it constantly logs people out at a random rate. It logged me out about ahh...five times in ten minutes which caused me to just completely put the game down. Not only that it has these constant issues that are server side. I love Feral-Heart but the game is literally caving in on itself. I've watched it cave in on itself for nearly six years now. I have no reason to dislike fh, I met the love of my life here. But as time goes on and nothing changes, the game continues to cave in on itself. I heard the story about how Kovu left without leaving the source code but then I suddenly come to a realization: one of the staff members (not saying out out of pure respect for the person) told me that they were unable to change the game at all <-- I'm going to say that again. At all. Because they didn't have the source codes. I was like 'Oh alright, makes sense' but then they removed general. Mmmkay. They could have just recoded somethin. Then they added this whole log-in thing which is adding something on. Changing the game. Not removing something. This is the problem I have been having. If someone can clear this up for me, great. But until then I have my suspicions that I've been lied to by a certain staff member.
