If you're still seeing those loading screens, I can only imagine the update is not installing correctly. Try downloading it from here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/u3u98mlwumkrac1/FHsetup1.15.exe

You need to keep that page open while you play. ALSO, in addition to resetting your characters homes from the user panel, you need to send them home afterwards.

So far, nothing has still worked.  I've kept the tab open like I usually do; and this link downloaded the proper updated version on my laptop, and my girlfriend tried as well, with the three different connections in her home.  I'm not sure what else to do at this point, but thank you for your input. 

I don't think your game update installed properly. Those loading screens are not present in the updated version, try re-installing it.

Just tried it again, and I keep running into the same problem.

After not playing the game for a few months, I decided to hop back on.  I reset my desired character homes and re-downloaded the game.  When I first logged on with a brand new character, I attempted to enter a portal, but seemed to permanently stuck on a loading screen with "failure to connect to map server" appearing.  After pressing "retry", it was permanently stuck on loading.  So then I restarted the game, picked the same new character, etc.  Except for this time, when I only picked a character to enter the game, I was stuck with the same "failure to connect to map server" option, and then stuck on loading again for what seemed like eternity, and it just stayed there.  And this has been happening with each attempt to start playing.  I checked my firewall settings, internet connection, made sure the correct tab was open to play the game, and all of that.  So I'm not sure what's going on.

The image I've posted is an example of what I'm seeing now every time I attempt to start up the opening map, and then it's alway stuck on "loading."

Lately when I've been logging onto the game, I've noticed that the button to create characters is missing and/or invisible.  Does this happen sometimes?  I've restarted the game several times and it hasn't changed.  Is there a limit to how many characters I can create or is this just a glitch?

Thusfar, I've read the rules and such, the only question I have is how to download the actual game.  I'm still fairly confused.  I've tried a couple times, but it's still rather confusing. I know that I have to go to "Download Setup" and click on "Download" but I end up getting logged out.  Help?
