Game Help / Problems with objects in my map.

Hello everyone, I have a problem. I made a map, and I used some objects that I downloaded off of the FH forum. A few of them were Sly's castle and the Wolf Cave, Sly's bridge, and some other stuff. I exported my map, and tried to access it through Cape of Distant Worlds. When I got there, I couldn't see the objects that I downloaded. The other objects were all there though. Can somebody please tell me how I can fix this?

I hope someone can help me with this, I have a few questions:

1: When I download a .rar file, how can I convert it and what do I convert it to to make it work on FeralHeart?
2: When I try to download meshes from this website: http://wombat.worldforge.org/dir?path=3d_objects , how can I make the textures and stuff for the animals work? I learned that you should have a .mesh and a .material file for each mesh you want to make, can someone explain to me how I can do that?

The problem was that I didn't know how to make rivers and such. And WaterMill looked cool to me. I was lazy. Haha.
