Really, grammar is of little importance. The only time it comes important is when you're writing an English essay or in an exam. These things don't happen in FH! xD I type in full sentences with fairly good grammar because that is what I've been used to doing for a long time and typing any other way would just seem strange to me.
sometimes i'll type like this if i'm feeling particularly lazy or if i'm trying to multitask several things at once. But no one can judge someone's intelligence by how they type. Maybe people do feel like capitalising names or dotting their I's and crossing their T's. Also, there are different types of intelligence; pigeons and squirrels are considered intelligent for their ability to remember the way to somewhere, or where they buried something. Wolves may be considered intelligent because of their social structure.
These people that were calling you 'unintelligent' made a very sweeping statement. It's not how you type that counts, it's what you type. ;)
