Click on the small arrow, it looks like a triangle near the bottom right, and then right click on Norton Antivirus icon. Then it will say disable smart firewall if you want to shut it down. If not then click Disable Antivirus Auto-Protect so it can disable the protection and you can change the time to how long you want it disabled.
