like I press A of D and my charrie turns, but the camera doesnt turn with it. Its annoying because to turn the camera I have to <-- or -->  but on my options says the controls are the same as always.

Just hold down the right mouse button and turn the camera with your character that way.

The camera never moves with the character, in a way of staying directly behind it. Try toggling all camera modes with the function keys. (F1, F2, etc) If that's not it, then try pressing Ctrl on you keyboard to toggle the run-mode.
