What's going to happen to the server once 1.8 is released?

Honestly I don't know. It sounds like this update will affect survival mode, but I'm not sure if it will work on survival multiplayer right away. If it does, then the server will have to be updated to it, I believe. Although I'm not totally sure.
I have to wait till it comes out though, then I'll figure things out.

I heard that you have to make a new world in order for the update to work on your world. Do you think that means we'll have to restart the whole server? D:

In a way I think it would be sorta fun to start over. I don't want to see my house go though, I'm really proud of it.

Edit: Hey guys, can we add Wudiin to the server? She doesn't have an account on here anymore but she doesn't grief and she fixes stuff if she accidentally breaks something.

Also, about a reset, I definitely want to know for sure if we'd have to restart and all that. I'd also take it to a vote. There could be a way to import our map as well? :?
Who knows at this point. I still wanna wait for the official details before we decide anything.

///////Oh yeah, I also read that the update could come out on the 12th. Read it on the forum news. Not set in stone but thats the most recent ive heard on it.
