I HAVE 1.8 ON MY MINECRAFT AND IT WORKS FINE!!!!

I have to check with the server though, to see if I can still connect to that (Might be an issue with the sever still bein 1.7.3 if it is still that.)

I think you guys shoudl be able to use 1.8, if I can without a paid account! My only issue is the shadows keep glitching for me.

I think shadows have always glitched. Just put a torch down and take it right back.
Edit: 1.8 Cooked Chicken is Fantastic! xD
But Chickens are harder to find I think.. Sheep are all over the place tho.

  I had like 10 - 20 chickens clucking around when I was on my single player game... So I don't think they're that hard to find, perhaps they just don't like you XDDD

I let mine update normally. Although I dunno what you gotta do if it's unliscenced XD

My new world is like...Pig central lol

I also semi finished my house, it needs a floor though. I need to go out and get wool. I can't TMI/SPC them in >_> |D because I'm running absolutely no mods at the moment. I don't mind doing things legitly though. Feels more rewarding :B

I couldn't either, I think we might need to update the server....

I don't even have the IP address anymore in the Multiplayer.

And yeah when I re-add it in I can't either it says "can't reach server"
