Wow what a pain in the ass. I probably won't even get time to go on and fix it either. Well at least we have creative mode so its easier to fix stuff!

Now I want to get on, but it just lags massively from here. The irony is, is that my friend that I'm staying with has incredbly awesome internet, but I guess this laptop can't handle Minecraft.

I'm not sure what we should do.

  At this point in time I think it is safe to say we have a serious greifing problem. I haven't been on in a while, so I haven't seen the issue (I put a mod on my minecraft that makes it lag so terribly I would never be able to function online so I have to remove it before I can.) but the greifer has gotten bolder.

  I think we need to interrogate people, if we can get them, and start removing people from the server if we think they are suspicious. Since we can't say for certain who it is without actually catching them in the act.

It's a shame you didn't press tab when that happened. It shows you who is online. Keep that in mind everyone and keep your eyes peeled.

I agree with Kyu, if the griefer's going to be bold, we'll be bold too.

I might try to go on, but eh if I do I can't stay because of the lag. It makes it near impossible to play with the lag spikes.

Alright everyone, Ive been reading the logs and I basically know who did it. Since yesterday before Teal's house was griefed, only 3 people have logged onto the server. Myself, Kaiza, and one other person..

I'm sure no one would suspect Kaiza or myself of griefing, so I'd just like the person to know that I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. I know you read this thread, and I know YOU have been griefing my server. To answer your question, YES, the server can read your IP and knows who you are even when you log in with a different name.

I am giving you one chance to fess up now and apologize. Either here on the thread or PM me personally. If you apologize your punishment will be lighter.

I'd like to discuss this with some of the mods if possible. I'd like to meet you guys on the server at some time to do so.

Also, a note, I backed up the server today to roll back if anything else gets griefed as severely as Teal's house was. I apologize teal, in the future I will add more security. If you need help rebuilding your house I'd be glad to help.

I hope that the person owns up and apologizes on this thread. I'd like to see them and what they have to say for myself.
Unfortunately I can't get on the server until the weekend unless a chance randomly pops up during the week, so if you guys have a meeting PM me and let me know what's happening, thanks.

And thanks Ghosting, It probably shouldn't be too much work to fix it. If anyone has time to fix the water and put in the carpet back in while I wait for a chance to get on, it would be great. Thank you <3

Just so everyone is on the same page, the griefer contacted me and said they didn't want to play on the server anymore. As such, they were IP banned for safety measures as well as punishment.

Everyone's structures should be safe now. If anyone finds anything griefed in the future, don't hesitate to let me know.
