@Twizzler: Thanks, those are great suggestions. I actually have a 'wave' type thing in the works, though so far it looks a bit silly.
I am not big on making non flying animals and I'll tell you why. They look flat. :/  Each particle is just a flat piece and with most larger complex animals they look very silly when they only move one specific way without any other moving parts. Also, making creatures that are simple land walkers doesn't work out well when the particle goes right through a terrain. I never work with flat terrain on a map, there is always lumps and bumps so the animals would end up just passing right through it XD
However, a heat wave is a very good idea. Also something that shouldn't be all that hard to do as well as it would be a great particle for desert maps like the two I am currently working on. I have an avalanche particle but once again, it still looks a bit ridiculous XD Once I can figure a good way of making it then I might be able to do a tiny one like what you are talking about. Thanks for the great ideas!

@Luzxia: Scroll down till you find the side by side picture of hail and locust. The link is just above the image.

ooh have you ever thought of doing these things?:

rock fall dust stuff- like something for in a cave... you know how sometimes bits of rocks give out and let out a huge dust cloud while a few of the pebbles fall? idk how else to explain it but id imagine it to be one of those particles that happen every now and again... like it would do its little rockfall once then not do it again for like a minute or so or w.e. BUTANYWAY. like.. you know what i mean? when youre walking around a creepy cave or something and you step on a rock or bump into a wall and a few pebbles and a dust cloud fall from the ceiling ouo

those little propeller leaves- you know those leaves/seeds that fall in autumn that spin like helicopters when they fall down? ouo

spiderwebs- this would be like a regular group of webs or something that has little spiders moving around on it.

wormhole- i can imagine a few people who would want this. i have a feeling it would just be taking the whirlpool, recoloring it, and adding some little particle dots being sucked into it or wind being sucked into it to add the effect.

meteor shower :D?- as a weather thingy.

meteor shower particle- like a group of meteors shooting off. and it would be made as if its farrrrr in the distance like youre seeing it from the ground and its up in the sky.

snow flurry- like a swirling wind with snowflakes and stuff. probably moving in some figure 8 motion and fading here and there.

people walking- id imagine this would be a pain to do but i could imagine people who have city maps would love this like a particle of a group of people walking along or just one person or somethin XD ya know?

glowing eyes- this would be so awesome. like a bunch of pairs of eyes glowing and blinking. it would be so perfect for a spooky map so they can have eyes staring at you from trees and stuff.

bats- just a bunch of bats fluttering around

fireworks :D- self explanatory

sparks- just like... little sparks that pop all over. it would probably be like little white lights that are clustered into one particle thingy where they just pop randomly and scattered and stuff. ouo or something like an electric spark like what youd expect to see if you broke a machine or coated it in water.

sandstorm/dustcloud- like dust or sand blowing around~

im just too full of random ideas, im very aware that some of these would probably be a complete pain to do but who knows :D

your particles and meshes and the converted meshes are fantastic by the way.

Freya: If its crashing after exports its probably because you need to delete all the copied particles that appear. <the information is at the top of this threads first post.>

Shiekra: LOL Wow! The funny thing is I thought of several of these, I just didn't bother to list them all on the front, just wrote them down on paper but lets see if I can break down the info:

Falling Rocks sounds great, Twizzler mentioned this earlier and I think I marked it on the front but I will double check that. I also have falling sand on my list for desert maps. I will try to do a blowing sand too for the tops of dunes.

Spinning seeds was one I thought of while walking in the woods, but I forgot all about it, thanks for reminding me! I'll get that written down before I forget again D:

There are already spiderwebs in Jayfeather55's stuff, and spiders might be workable but yes, that one could be a pain, I may have to save that one for a later date when I can work particles a little better

A wormhole was also mentioned by Twizzler, but like I said to her, that one would only be useful on black skies as daytime it would look...highly unusual XD

I have seen a meteor shower before....but the person who did them was not giving the particle out, however, I can still make my own I imagine, as well I am trying to work out doing a 'falling star' particle too.

hum, snow flurries would be cute, but that would be another complicated particle for it to move in a swirl pattern before it fades. Certainly a challenge but I can always keep it on the list.

People walking? No, I have already explained why I don't do large particles. they simply look rediculous as they would be flat people floating around without moving their arms legs heads ect. XD

Actually I have a working version of the glowing eyes right now! I just have been a little distracted with other things to put it out, I was trying to get some green eyes to go with it :)

bats could work, but they wouldn't 'flap' they would just float like the other bird particles.

There is already a firework particle from IT that I converted into a simple 'localized' particle. Hmm..I will have to see if I can link it on the main page.

Sparks? Hmm...not sure on that one...I will have to think about it, but it is a good idea. I want to have lightning weather too but that is just...hurrr umm....yea, a little beyond my skills <and if I did lightning I want it done AWESOMELY XD > OO but you know what? Developing dark clouds...that might be fun!  OOOOO you have me thinking ;D

There is actually a sand storm in game as well as a nifty sand tornado made by Hamilton!

Thank you very much for the suggestions! I have so many to work on and so little time! But I will do my best to continue on. I had an idea for water skippers just today! Anyway, don't worry about spilling your ideas, I will certainly consider them!

How about one of those moving dark cloud's you could make go around the map randomly and put alot of dripping water particles under it.Like in cartoons when someone's sad or under the weather those storm cloud's appear above them and start raining or little lighting flash's  abofe there head when there mad?

You know I think someone made a orca mesh. You could make a water spout coming up like off inthev distance of ocean coming out of a whale's blowhole area.

Would jumping salmon be out of the question like for rp map's in the forest you know when salmon go against the current upriver to mate. And bears like stand there where they jump out of the water to get up  tiny rapid's.It could be bundled with other water things like dripping water.
