Map Help!

 I made a map but, I don't know how to get the map onto the Map Maker in Feral Heart to Load it (This is a stupid question xD) Sorry for asking but, I really need help! I watched videos of how to make the heightmaps and make sure it's a png. file and it is 513 in size in pixels as well as how to make the Mask but, I still can't figure out how to add the map im making to the list in the Map Maker. If anyone knows what im trying to ask, Please Help!!!!

Create a map inside the map maker.

Place the heightmap png image inside the map folder you just created from inside the game. Should be
C:\FeralHeart\media\terrains\ <Map you just made>

Open up the game again.

Enter the world tab, and write in the name of the heightmap image you made inside the terrainheightmap field.(with .png) after.

Press enter and it loads.


If the image isn't saved correctly the map maker will crash. If you didn't enter the name correctly, it wont be found.

Btw I have another Question but, I don't know if i should make another Poll but, I'll just explain it.

 I've got the Height  Map and the Mask Map down but, for some reason when i go into my Map that I just created it doesn't have any height. I put the dark shades and the light shades in the HeightMap when i created it as well as the grey base but, when im in the Map Maker it's just a flat piece of land. I don't know what's wrong? I've watched videos of how to make maps but, they all have height like hills and gorges when they created their maps but, when I try I get this flat piece of land with no gorges or hills. I don't know if Im on a setting or Im just not doing it right? (Sorry if I should have made another post.)

If you have a heightmap inside your map folder, but no height differences. You haven't assigned the heightmap to the map in the game.

I see it's missing a comma though so it might was hard to understand. should be made,*

I thought I did that before.

It does find the file though when I type it in sometimes but, still the height doesn't show up. (Sorry about this. I'm having issues)

Maybe I'm missing something crucial here.

Most of the time when it's something wrong with the image the map maker crashes when trying to load, if it doesn't it's usually because the correct name for the image isn't used.

Oh wait I spelled Terrian wrong in the Height Map. XD It works now.
