Change your rendering system.

On the log-in page, click "Options". Now, go to the "Video" tab. The first option should be "Rendering subsystem". Change the one you are on to the other one.
{Ex: Change FROM Direct3D9 TO OpenGL. Or, change FROM OpenGL TO Direct3D9}

I went to the media folder > materials > terrain. And was written the following:

}
   //Fallback technique
   technique
   {
      pass
      {
         lighting off
         texture_unit
         {
            texture african_grass.jpg
            scale 0.05 0.05

and a little further down was written the same thing! is it anyway??
