so i got a map from a friend of mine with a huge amount of stuff.
put everything in exports and the sound file in the sounds folder.
went to go check out the map. the portal was there. went in it, and...
BAM.
i get a "feralheart.exe has stopped working" pop up.
ive tried reentering the map 7 times. same thing happens every time.
no i dont have any unneeded files in exports. and no ive never had this problem before
other people are getting in it just fine. its just me whos having the issues.
help?
It might be a huge amount of objects causing you to lag, too much lag actually causing you to crash.
Try closing any other open windows besides Feralheart, turn off your water reflection and turn down your view distance. Just try reduce as much lag as possible as it may help
Hello i have a question for any MOD if there is a MOD reading this. What if like you enter that portal and you go to the map but your on the edge in mid air and your stuck! You have to like wait 10mins if you click 'Go Home' to go there. my character is like standing there... IN MID AIR! Please help me this is for the sake of all the others that might get tihs 'Diseased Map'
I've got the same problem with a map I've made. Every time my friends try to enter, they get stuck outside of the map!!
I'm not a mod but I might be able to help you two. In Map Maker you might've changed the coordinates in that "Has Portal" box. I have a feeling your map portal is also in mid air which is causing your character to appear outside the map.
Try referring to my
tutorial, moving your portal into the map might change your character's arrival position
