If you mean bigger as in character running around in a larger area, that's done from within the map maker in the "World tab" I think.
You just change the size of the map there by making the value bigger.
But if you just want a more detailed heightmap, then you can just set it to something like 1024 x 1024 though keeping it to the fivehundred is recommended.
