Map HELP!

  Okay so I downloaded a map right? Now how can I get it to work in FH? I know there's some steps to doing it but I don't know what steps. Help please

FHM, FHS, FHO files in the exports folder. Material files in materials folde and images (example water material) in textures folder. If its example grass texture put it in terrains > textures folder.

Notice, not every map has textures or material files.

I have a PNG Image file,Map file,Mesh file, and a bunch of CFG files. Where do they go ?

..Um... anywho, Zandra, you should have an exports folder. Put ALL the files in Computer/OS(C:)/FeralHeart/Exports, and the portal to the map should apear right in Cape Of Distant Worlds, which can be accessed through its portal in Flourite Plains.

If you have a PNG Image file,Map file,Mesh file, and a bunch of CFG files then your map isn't exported yet.

Go on the game, click the "Tools" tab underneath login, then "Mapmaker". Type the name of your map in the box then click "Export".

i didnt download a map, i MADE a map! now its public and people are in it!!!!!! 0_0 do YOU know why it is?

Well, either or not it's download the map still needs to be exported to work. This is from the readme file in the exports folder:
Place your friends' maps here!
"Maps must be exported from the Map Maker.

Files types included are:
.fhm
.fho
.fhs
.fhw"

So either way you can't put a PNG Image file,Map file,Mesh file, and a bunch of CFG files in the exports folder and expect it to work; .fhm, .fho, .fhs, .fhw files only. x'D

And fire, it's public because some people have downloaded your map somewhere. ^^

So Zandra, you need to tell the person to export it, or just export it yourself, like the kind gentlemen above stated owo
