Trying to use texture

I want to make a den textured groundlava but it wont work. i put the files in objects, help!

By "den" I assume you mean cave?
What files?
Which object folder?

I mean den as in the king in flourite plains-NOT the cave, the one that comes with the game. (man, if i could load screenies >.>) I copyed the ground lava pic into the objects folder,My_objects is getting full XD
