Custom Markings

So I made some custom markings and put them on a character. They looked really nice so I went to show them to a friend but she said I'm completely white with no markings or colors. Even my pelt and underfur aren't showing up. Is this normal? Am I the only one who can see my markings because I made them? I couldn't find anywhere that said this happens to other people.

Did you send her the markings file? Sometimes characters show up white on my screen too, and I think it's because I didn't have the markings pack they had. (i.e. Hamiliton's marking pack)
