The howl slowly died away, Dusk's head lowering as it grew more silent. When it died completely, he cocked his head a bit and perked one ear, listening. Karma did the same, but neither heard a response or reaction.
"Well, either their cautious or didn't hear me," Dusk said sarcastically with a smirk, which Karma returned. "Right, but I think its because you're a male and naturally repel others away from you." Dusk gave a pretend offended look, and with a "hmph" sound turned his muzzle away. Karma only smiled in turn, saying, "Let me give it a try. They may be more attracted to me."
Now raising her own muzzle to the the sky, a howl was erupted from her maw. Unlike Dusk's own haunting sound, her's rang across the air, filled with spirit and life. Yet it had an added mysterious tone, like a howl that was keeping a secret. In a way it was taunting and teasing as well, and it echoed across the buildings.
