((@Luna: Drat, knew I was missing something in my post xD
At least Abby got it, haha.))
Dusk and Karma exchanged glances with one another, both obviously having a hard time processing the information. Back home, they had never came across something like this, "love and kindness" wasn't something they used to solve problems. It was survival, to fight and kill only where it was needed and thrive on other resources. If there wasn't exactly something to "fight," what else was there to do?
Karma saw all of this strongly in her brother, and in his eyes she could see he wanted to protest and refuse such a seemingly ridicules notion. Electric-blue irises locked with storm-cloud irises, and both clashed for a moment. As he gazed back at his sister, Dusk clearly saw the message she was trying to send. It was because of her love and care for him that he turned away from his old life, that he could not deny. And it was because of his love and care for her that they were here in the first place, and why he changed his ways. Finally, Dusk broke away from the gaze with a defeated inward sigh.
The silent message between them remained unsaid, only their gazes returning to the feline showed they were beginning to accept the message. And still they remained silent, for they were curious about who this "Mother" was, and as Vanth voiced all that was likely in most of their minds they waited to hear the answer.
