((@Luna: Alrighty! Just I don't think he'd kidnapped Thirteen unless told to do so or there'd be something to gain from taking the cat haha.
Did you have something in mind?))
The crimson colored male kept a few paces away from both Kali and Zero, his gaze fixed intently on the fight. He stayed within their sights though at a respectable distance, seeming to be off in his own world as the battles unfolded. The story he heard from the cat replayed in his mind slowly and deliberately, all of it sounding like childish, fantasy junk conjured up by a foolish mind. Love and kindness the cat had said they needed, yet all he saw between this pack was the lust to kill. They were hardly any different from his own pack, and now they wouldn't even have to lift a finger to be rid of them.
How convenient, Cyris thought silently to himself, allowing just a small twitch of a satisfied smile to cross his features. If any happened to look his way, it'd barely be see-able against his dark fur.

Calm, Dusk always kept calm. Despite the chaos going around him, Dusk sat in the very same spot he had been with his sister even after she ran toward the cave. It was something he expected and knew it'd be a waste of breath to stop her, so why bother? Even so, as shouts filled the air and fights were breaking out, there he was. Expression impassive, one would think he was merely enjoying a peaceful night. Dusk had a leash on his emotions and through the chaotic storm his mind was flowing steadily on it's track.
Finally, though, the male slowly rose on all fours. Steadily his eyes gazed about him, pushing away the madness going on to glance carefully toward the trees. A strange feeling had settled on him, the kind you get when threatening eyes were watching you, the fur on his nape bristling lightly furthering the feeling. At first he thought it was because of Vanth and Xander, but this was different. A nagging voice echoed in the back of his mind, but finally he turned toward the cave.
Vanth had stormed out, what had happened to Lorcan, Xander, and his sister? Letting Cross and Spades take care of Vanth, he quickly headed to the cave mouth, pausing only to investigate what was going on within.
"Lorcan," his voice was hardly a whisper, though the cave increased it's volume. Silently the male stalked toward the fallen snow-colored wolf. As far as he could tell, no wounds marked his body and he was breathing. If anything, he just seemed daze. "Are you alright?" he whispered to his ear, taking a moment to glance up toward Karma and Xander. A fight didn't break out between them, but deep inside Dusk's heart beat quickly with each passing second.

Vaguely Karma was aware of her surroundings but only to an extent. She had no clue what was going on between Vanth or Lorcan, she didn't even know the demonic female had left the cave. Her attention was fixed mainly on the male before her, for even getting distracted for a split second could cost her her life.
At his words, Karma flinched back, setting her jaw. But she kept her gaze fixed on him, eyes softening with regret (of which she thought she saw in his own eyes) and shame. "I'm sorry," her voice remained strong and clear, but was coated lightly with sincerity. "I spoke out of anger. I did not mean to hurt you and it was the last thing I had wanted to do. But don't you see?" Here she took a cautious step forward, almost casual-like and quick that it may have hardly been noticed. "See what emotions make others do to those they care for. Because I allowed my anger to cloud my mind, I had hurt you without meaning to. Emotion is clouding your own mind and hiding who you truly are, making you believe you want something that you don't desire. We're your friends and even family, and I know you do not want to harm us." Again, just as cautious, she tried another step. They were agonizingly slow and made little progress, but a sudden movement could break the spell.
