Suturi stood and shot a glare at Drake as he left. She looked over at May and said `Wow, you have a good choice in friends `She rolled her eyes `But no need to thank me. It is kind of natural for one wolf to help another` she smiled

Dawn soon falls asleep curled around her pups when a cougar comes sniffing into the cave having smelled defenseless pups alone in the cave

[Ashanitan]

May charges at the cougar baring her teeth at it. she growls "leave them alone!" she jumps at the cougar and bits at it's ears.

-Drake growled once more.  He pushed himself off of the ground, leaping over May and landing beside the cougar, raking his claws and teeth down its side.  Drake bit the cougar's hind leg and drug it back, a few inches each pull, away from the den.-

Dawn jerks awake hearing a commotion outside the cave she snarls and stands over her pups protectively when she see's a wolf coming towards the den and relaxes as she see's it's just Drake.

May jumps off the cougar and lands on her paws arkwardly. she licks her paw that was injuried  when she fell into a hole. she limps back to the cave and yawns, curling up in her nest closest to the wall by her sister.

Dawn picks up her pups and walks over to her sister before laying down and licking her sister's paw "Drake can you help me make sure she stays off her paw." she asks softly.

May rolls her silver blue eyes at her sister. she barks "come on Dawn, it doesn't hurt any more unless i lay on it."

looks at her younger sister with a mocking glare. "Yea until you end up breaking it even more." she huffs as she nudges her sister's shoulder. "fine you can walk on it but please no running?" she whines.

-After making sure the cougar was away, Drake entered the den and sat at the entrance.-  "I will."  -He nodded at Dawn's question.-  "And no, May.  Until it heals a few more days, maybe a week or two, you must stay off of your paw.  I'll do all the hunting and fighting and all that.  So you promise me that.  The more you stay off of your paw, the better it'll heal."
