Portal/Gate help please!!

I am trying to make a map for me and my friends, but the problem is,  take 1 of my char's and take it to cape of distant worlds then find my map, i go in it, then it loads, and then i am in the air! and i am just falling! then i do the movie button and i test it and its on the ground! here's a picture of what happens:


This is really frustrating!! i had to delete the cave map, cause one, too much space, two, I CAN'T EVER GET TO IT untill 25 minutes later!!
Is there a certain way you have to do the gates/Portals?
HELP MEH!!!!!!!!!!!

On the first tab in map maker theres stuff called "Has Portal, Coordinates etc" In the coordinate boxes where the X,Y,Z is thats where your portal will appear and where your character will appear. Put a rock or some kinda object in the place you want the portal then just copy the rocks coordinates into the portals coordinates.
