FeralHeart.exe has stoped working

Windows is looking for a solution to the problem.

LIES.


Earlier today, I was using FeralHeart just fine. No crashes, glitches or even lag so far. After a friend of mine sent me a few files, though, (it needs to be noted that after this, FH still opened just fine. So it weren't said files.) after I closed the window and tried to open it again, it just sent me that message.

Over. And over. And over. And over...


I've tried (or think I've tried) everything to fix it. I've erased all FH related files, uninstalled and reinstalled it again. I even deleted anything FH+ related as well.
It didn't fix it.
I restarted my PC at least 2 times. Still nothing.


One thing I can say for sure, is that it's not my computer. I had been using FH for quite some months now, and it never showed any issues like these...
Until the new patch was released. I don't want to blame it all on the patch... 'cause it'd be silly. Or would it? But I'm sure as heck that after I installed that blessed patch, I had four times as many Bad Tokens and Connection Failures, and most importatly crashed constantly. Every 10 to 15 minutes at least. When I rarely to almost never crashed before.


If anyone can help, I'll be forever grateful. I could even offer you a free preset if your method works :c FH has just been my only source of RP for some time, and it'd be a shame not to be able to do that, or even talk to my beloved stalked-ones thanks to a bug or something that God knows when it'll be fixed. With the game as forsaken as it is by its creator and all... well.

Running around patchless fixes most of the issues. But there's still some crashing here and there.... Hopefully, the lovely thing gets fixed soon - I wouldn't want to go through this with FH+ as well.

For everyone that wants to play regardless of the patch. ERASE ALL OF YOUR FH FILES AND REINSTALL THE GAME WITHOUT THE PATCH. REPEAT.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR INSTALL THE PATCH.

At first, I thought it was because of the double-screen. Updating my theories.
I did not download or install the patch, but for some reason, the game itself seems to have it or something alike since the updates are already included. My guess is that it's a bug. A nasty one, to that. Sometimes, FH will stop working for the whole day. Other times, during a few hours. But in all cases, the "FH.exe has stopped working" applies. I have not been booted by any other error than this one.
No Bad Tokens.
No loss of connection to the map.
Just this one error.
I'm frankly terrorized by it being a bug, just because the updates to fix them seem to be slow and require the team to know wtf is going on. Which, at least for now, I think they don't.

So far, it seems it's up to luck if FH works. Still no defected maps or presets, btw.
Also,
ACCENTS THAT AREN'T RECOGNIZED BY FH CAUSE THE GAME TO CRASH.

I have been having this issue sense the new patch was given to us. (Tuesday) and I have yet to find a solution for this error. I have talked to Red and have tried everything. I think it's the patch really I have never had problems with windows shutting the game down until I installed the patch. I love this game and now I cannot get on at all. I don't know if Kov is still working on this matter or not. there are a lot of glitches in this new patch. I want the old one back =(
If you find a way to fix this let me know as well. these are all the things I have tried and all have failed:

1:re-downloading and installing over and over. (this includes the Patch and the original game itself and restarting my computer)
2: change the direc3D9 to OptionGL in the game opions.
3: make a new char and start over to test to see if it's the maps (it's every map that is having issues for me not just maps from other users)
4: take out all maps and extras that you added
5:tried on another computer
6:went into properties in the FH game looking for any way to change things around, like making the game run better.
7: downloaded both patch and FH game at the same time.
8:looked for any duplicates in the FH folder. (found nothing)
9:messed around with the ogre options (would not recommend this. the game will not even load once done. had to re download the game to get it back to normal)
10:Tried removing water reflection in the game.

I'm quite sadly in your same situation. But mine doesn't even get into the log-on window. :/
I've tried most of what you already did, and those that I didn't is because I just can't.

This is the only thing I get:

This bloody bugger comes along. EVERY TIME. (Says the same thing as your screenshot, just in spanish, lol.)

I've checked everything in the folders. Duplicates, defects, things that shouldn't be there. I've messed with the splash screen options but it's all the same. Gawd darn.

To be completely honest, before this patch that splash screen didn't even show up. FH just did its thing and automatically took me to the main menu. Since then, I take it that when it actually shows it's cause there's something different? I don't know, but it's generally not good for me.

Gah... man this patch needs to go so us users can get back in the game. At least until the new patch is fixed and then add it back in. I really want to get in the game and chat with friends. =(

same thing happnd 2 me but now i cant even donwload the game...did the link break again?...this patch is causing a lot of trouble i dont know what 2 do some1 mind helping me a bit?
