Does...does this take place after Loch Leven? I know Hero shut it down, but the plotline seems a lot like it.

It's basically a continuation. The plot and maps are mine, so I'm free to do what I want with them ;3

Okami - Thanks for the application. I'll get back to you about it after I've talked with the other admins.

Glad to see this back up ;D I'm not very happy with how Sorrel looks right now, though. If anyone has any tips to make her look more realistic, I'd appreciate it.

Sorrel
Female
Sometime during the spring of 2010. (I had no idea when foxes gave birth, so I used Wikipedia.)
Red Fox
Sorrel as a kit was very headstrong, and determined to become a fierce fighter. When she was 9 months old, she left her family and joined a clan called the Diamondbacks. They were a pack of canines that controlled a large amount of territory, and were talented fighters. Sorrel signed on as an apprentice and learned much about tracking and fighting, and later became one of their scouts. As she matured, she began to see the Diamondbacks for who they actually were. They bullied and degraded any loners or other canines they had in their control, forcing them to do most of the hunting. One time, as she and some other warriors were chasing down the members of a fleeing wolf pack, she realized one of the wolves was carrying a cub in her jaws. This was the first one they cornered. Thraxus, a maned wolf and the leader of the clan, ordered Sorrel to kill the pup while they took care of the mother. Sorrel refused, then turned and attacked Thraxus himself, allowing the wolves to escape. She was nearly killed, but was able to struggle free and escape. Thraxus pronounced her a coward and a traitor, and his minions began to spread the word throughout their range, and beyond it. Anyone who brought Sorrel in alive would be given full protection from the Diamondback campaigns. She has been running from her past ever since. This has made her extremely distrustful, even paranoid at times. Still, under the surface is a caring, loyal fox who just wants to live her life normally.

Sorrel uncurled stiffly, grunting. The log she had slept in was rough, hard, and cold, but it beat being out in the wind. She walked out of her makeshift den and sniffed the air. Maybe there was a mouse around, rummaging among the autumn leaves. Fall was rapidly turning to winter, and if she wanted to survive she knew she would have to find a warm den and a source of food. She stiffened as she heard footsteps in the leaves. Too big to be a mouse. She darted back into her den, watching the opening. She saw a coyote and another fox walk past. She knew that those two species of canine rarely, if ever, worked together. Diamondback scouts, she realized. Her heart thumped as the coyote stopped and smelled the air. "What is it?" asked the other fox.
"Smelled something. But the wind's blown it away now."
"Eh." She watched as the two walked out of sight. She didn't come out of the log until the sound of leaves crunching under their feet had quieted.
