Downloading Maps help?

I'm new at this (not to FH but haven't been on in a while), it's my first time downloading maps and I just have a few questions.

Downloaded maps appear in the Cape of Distant Worlds right?

Ok so I picked a public map posted here on the FH forums to download and I followed the instructions (or at least I think I did) for when downloading a map. I downloaded WinRAR for in the future when I start making my own maps. So I downloaded the map from mediafire, the file opened in WinRAR and I opened the conpressed zip file and extracted it. I was supposed to do that right?

Anyway, I took the file and dragged it into the 'exports' file like the directions say in the FH file. So I went into the game and went to 'Cape of Distant Worlds'. The portal isn't there? Where is this map I just downloaded? I must have done something wrong but I'm not sure what. I have a Windows Vista Laptop PC, so no I don't have a Mac. Can someone please try and help me? Hmm, so the file was a .rar file?

So you opened the .zip file. And you copied the actual .fhm, .fho, ect. to the exports, right? Not the actual folder. It won't work with the folder.

I'm not sure if it was a .rar file, but it opened in WinRAR and extracted the files. I didn't copy anything, I just dragged the whole thing into exports. It will work if I copy each file individually and drag them in?

I would try that. Copy each .fhm like file into exports.

What about .fho? Those files too? Or just ones that say .fhm?

However, question, the first time I went through the portal I couldn't get in...on the loading screen it said 'Bad Token' and sent me back to the login screen. So I logged in and used the same character, and I got in the second time. What's the 'Bad Token' thing? I've gotten it a few times while playing recently, is it some kind of bug?
