Patch not doing anything?

Whenever my friend downloads the newest patch and runs it, nothing happens. Literally, it acts like nothing ever happened. She's tried re-downloading, tried multiple times, tried deleting it and re-trying, nothing seems to work. She's really eager to play FH again, so can someone please help her? Thanks in advance.

If she has have her reinstall it and make sure its the game setup and has the newest version of it.

eek, completely reinstalling would maybe be the next option? :|
Or restart the computer after she downloads patch?

to restarting after downloading the patch wouldnt work at all. i had this issue and that was the first thing i did. so dont do that,its just  waste of time

So you uninstall feralheart and reinstall it? then it'll work with the patch? or do you delete the patch too?
