Hello.
At this point in time I have lost about six to ten characters.
My friends have all suffered the same loss.
Usually this wouldn't be so bad, however I do have some concerns.
My new map addition is where we want to hang out and so leaping into the portal we go.
However, only when we try to get into this one map, no matter who it is or how our computers run,
we all get that endless loop of cannot connect to server.
I've noticed that there are indeed a few threads out side of this with the same subject, but thus far
none had answers written within. Recreating a character is not so hard, however, when that character is the
group creator of a roleplay, this is a bit troubling.
What we've done to try and get our characters back and has not worked.
-Log into FH+, reset home, and change back.
-Reexporting the map and downloading.
-After completely deleting the map the server still wont connect to the lost characters.
-After re installing FH, the characters are lost.
-Trying different characters to get into the map has also failed.
-Restarting our computers.
-Restarting FH.
-Exporting a different map with the same name as the error map in hopes to connect that way.
-Waiting two days to see if connection returns.
-Trying when the amount of users are at it's lowest.
-It wont even let me, the map maker into the map unless I'm in map maker.
At one point we did get the map to work without eating our characters, but it seemed to last merely only hours before it suddenly gobbled us up again. It's frustrating because we don't understand what's happening nor are the threads providing answers. A little reassurance would be great from any of the game admins? Anything. Even if there is a top secret update your working on, at least tell us that eventually you'll have this fixed?
On the condition that perhaps I've missed something about a notice or if the answers to my plea are somewhere beyond my eye sight, could someone link me? Any clues to fix the lost characters or at least to prevent further losses. If there is a possible breech of agreement that my map has offended a copyright of an object or something, I've clearly missed the memo and would gladly correct myself.
It would be a real shame to live in fear of the ever consuming map of doom. Please help us?

I wont bother posting a new comment and bumping this thread, I just want to let you know that the character eating map has calmed down. I grew worried because of the four day wait, thinking my map was the problem. I know the servers have been acting up and the team behind the game are working hard, so thank you for fixing this.
I thought it really strange that the only map that rejected us was the one out of two that I recently exported. I've been having alot of trouble with exports. Alas! I was lucky not to have deleted my characters as my friends had. We all had given up on getting them back, calling the map a Black Hole or The Void. We ended up using it in our roleplay plot so things turned out interesting even though it wasn't ideal.
Good luck to you out there if your having the same issues. I had been looking around the other forum homes, the only information about the servers dating back to last year September? Im still kind of new at wandering the forums here, sorry. 8'U I hoped this thread helped at least, day after posting this seems like it threw up all my characters. Thank you!
