Earlier Shasta had escaped from Rava durin the good weather, then the small pup decided to run around, the world to her was hard to travel through, even a log was a mountain to her. She pawed up a rock and then slide down with her bottom. She had trekked all the way up to a abandoned, yet clean cave. She hid in the crack in the wall. When she had heard her Mother's voice along with many other voices, she heard the word Tornado Maybe dat's why dey are hwere! Shasta thought to herself. She crawled out while everyone was busy talking, and she carefully wriggled over to her mother. She saw Yakone with her. And she headed faster to her mom. She was at Dawn's tail now and decided to wrap aroubnd it. That is what she did. She wrapped around and fell asleep.
Samson had heard his brother's howl earlier but ignored it for he knew Night would get the lesson to never ignore his howling ever again. He had watched Shasta make her way in the woods. He pondered that she was just getting used to the big world. When he heard the news of a tornado near by he trekked with the rest of the pack, well at least some of them, including Dawn, but he stayed in the shadows so he was not seen. They went into a den abandoned. He knew Dawn was blind and had heard of her past events with Cougars and all. During the tornado he went up to Dawn when she had finished talking. "Dawn. YOur Glassy eyes do have chance of seeing the World Again. You only have a mere scratch on both of your eyes, that have never healed. Why? Because they haven't had the time! Orr the right treatment." Samson explained. He went to the back of the den and began to sniff around, he found what he was looking for, a spring of the herb that was rare, and used in cases klike this. He walked over to dawn and without aying a word, he had already opened it's roots up and with his teeth he had crushed the roots just enough to get the right amount of the herbn out. This time without any warning he got the goo into Dawn's eyes before she could protest. "Close your eyes for 5 moments, then open. I was once blind but now I can see, my father had taught me the use of herbs when I was just a mere pup". This herb brought my sight back. I was blinded from the same reason, a cougar attack" He then padded away and laid in the corner. He was a young male, not old at all, ut yet he seemed to stay away from other wolves. He merely thought to himself that maybe he would never have pups of his own. he always was around Dawn's pups because he loved to play with them and teach them. He loved every aspect of Shasta and her tiny figure.
Rava had padded with the rest of the camp to the abandoned Den. She watched as Dawn said everything so carefully. Rava remembered that Shasta had walked off. When hshe heard a loud whimper she knew that Shasta had been here for a long time. Maybe Shasta didn't know we were going to come the same spot Rava though to herself. She watched as Shasta had clambered out of the small crack in the wall and quietly wriggled over to Dawn and wrapped herself around Dawn's tail. Rava had watched Samson place the herbs on Dawn's eyes so quick that Dawn was unable to say a word.
Yakone saw Shasta and was about to pad over to her when he realized that Shasta had spotted him and quicken her pace as to say "Surprising momma" He then got himself back together and acted like he didn't see anything. His mouth was agape as Samson placed the herb into Dawn's eyes. he was astonished at souch wisdom. Samson had covered the eyes entirely, and yet the glassyness in Dawn's eyes didn't seem to slowly go away, it quickly began to go away. Under the galssyness was the most beautiful pair of Blue eyes he had ever seen in his young life time.
Rain padded away from the Den, the abandoned den which he had slept in the past week. he trekked away knowing the tornado was close, and that he would have to find shelter soon. He found A rock that gave enough shelter behind the den, and curled under it.
