Cassidy watched her leaved and lied down next to Jacob. "What happened?" She asked about how he was on the ground when she came out. She rested her head on his stomach and looked at his eyes.

Lydia shrugged. "More for me!" She picked up her kill and trotted to the corner and started tearing into it. She was starving.

Logan smiled and shook his head. He grabbed his and lied down next to Lydia. He looked over at Cassidy and flattened his ears seeing her with Jacob. He sighed and looked down at the meat and nudged it away.

Lydia looked at him, still chewing. "Aren't you gonna eat?" She asked mouthing the food he pushed away closer to his paws.

"I'm not hungry..." He whined lying his head down.

Lydia squinted and swallowed her food. "Come with me." She said standing up and trotting out of the den with her tail swaying in the gentle breeze.

Logan sighed and trotted after her. He stopped next to Jacob and Cassidy. He looked over his shoulder and stared into Cassidy's eyes. He almost yelped. She didn't even notice him whatsoever. He pulled his ears back and slowly walked out of the den looking down at the ground.

Lydia sat down and looked over her shoulder. She looked back at the hill in front of her seeing him coming. "This is about Cassidy, isn't it?"

Logan sat down beside her and nodded slowly with his head facing the ground, his tail tucked between his legs, and his ears pulled back against his head.

"You gotta forget bout' her, Logan... She likes Jacob... She likes him because of that whole accident with the tornado. Wouldn't you feel the same way if it were me?"

Logan looked at her. "I already feel that way about you."

Lydia looked surprised and she slowly turned her head his way and stared into his eyes. "You, like me?"

Logan sighed and nodded. I cant believe I just said that! He thought.

Lydia shook her head and stood up then started pacing in front of him. "But, what did I ever do with you? You barely knew I existed... I'm bossy and aggressive, I don't know how you can like me..." She stopped pacing and sat down.

Logan smiled and went over to her and nudged her chin. "Do you like me, or should I give up on this crazy dream?"

Lydia immediately looked at him and said. "Yes, I do like you." What did I just say?! She screamed in her mind. I promised Josh I would never have feelings for a male! Argh!! She thought.

"I was running to this den with Akeila and the tornado started to pull at my fur. I started to lift off the ground. I told Akeila to run but she didn't want to leave me. The next thing I know, I was flying in the tornado. I tried to convince myself this was all a dream. But it wasn't, it was more like a night mare..." Jacob sighed and kept talking. "I was thrown to a tree and I guess I broke my spine..." the wolf whimpered. He flattened his ears against his head.

Ginger went down to the river. Akeila was right behind her tail. Her legs brushed against the wet water-glazed grass. The cold, wet breeze blew against her fur, dappling her pelt. There was a patch of greens right infront of them. "See that, Akeila?"  she barked, calmly.

Dusty didn't know what to do. She tilted her head at Shasta. She back away on her stubby legs when Rain licked her. She yelped a bit. She wasn't that comfortable with Rain yet. She remembered how Lightning reacted when Rain arrived. She whimpered not knowing what to do.

Lightning jumped out of the water and pushed May in "How does it feel to be wet now?!" he chuckled. The male jumped in the water after his aunt. He swam up and his head was now above water. He gasped for air and smiled.

May gasped for air and swam to the shore. She got up and shook her pelt, she laughed "you act like you are still a pup Lightning." she went to the water's edge when she caught a scent the she remembered and saw a flash of dark fawn. A she wolf came out and barked"sorry I didn't know that there was others here sorry." may looked at the female and asked" what's your name?" the dark fawn barked " name's Cinder ma'am" may barked "I had a pup named Cinder but I losses her when the cougars attacked my sisters pack." cinder barked "mom is that you?" May nods and Cinder runs up to her and whimpers like a pup.

Cassidy sighed. "Your lucky to be alive..." She licked his muzzle and buried her head in his fur and sniffled. "I can't believe something like this happened... It does seem like a nightmare. There hasn't been a tornado here in years and then all of a sudden one randomly forms..."

Lydia walked back in the den with Logan and said. "Don't forget about the destroyed territory, Cass!" She giggled and lied down next to them.

Logan shook his head and smiled and lied down next to Lydia and looked dreamily at Cassidy. "I wish you were mine.." He whispered flattening his ears.

Lydia looked at him. "What did you say, Logan?" She raised an eyebrow at him seeing he was looking at Cassidy.

Logan looked back over at her. "Oh, nothing..."

Lightning got out of the water. "Cinder?!? Do you remember me? It's me cousin Lightning!" he barked, shaking his wet pelt. The male trotted to Cinder and he put both of his front paws on the young female playfully. "Wait who is the dad then?!?" he asked, jumping off infront of May.

Jacob smiled at Cassidy "Don't worry I'll be fine." he whispered in her ear. The male began to lick her ears, he then licked her lips. His tail wagged slowly, then his grey tail wrapped around Cassidy's tail and leg.

Lydia sighed and looked away. "Alrighty then." She said reluctantly.

Logan whined and ran out of the den, memories of Cassidy filling his mind like a cloud.

Lydia looked over and him and seemed to spawn on her feet. She ran after him and jumped in front of him making him stop.

Logan stopped running before he hit her. He sat down with his ears pressed against his head and he stared at the green grass.

Lydia sighed and sat down in front of him. Her heat scent filled the air around them and Lydia lifted her tail slowly letting it come out. She barely realized what she was doing.

Logan didn't seem to notice. He whined and lied down resting his head on his paws.

Lydia realized what she was doing and flicked her tail frustrated with herself. "What happened in there? Your acting like someone who lost their love in a fire."

"I did lose my love..." He muttered.

"I thought you liked me."

"I do, but I've liked Cassidy longer... I've known her longer. She's helped me, cared for me, let me help her and she slept beside me every night. I just wish I could let her know how much I adore her..."

Lydia flattened her ears. "You admitted you don't like me... Listen, I'm sorry about your precious Cassidy, but she likes someone else. You gotta wake up form the glorious dream and live in grandma's house once again..." She whined to herself.

Logan looked at her and giggled. "Not following you."

Lydia didn't respond. She was gone.

"Lydia?" Logan said looking around. "Where'd you go?!?" He stood up and followed her scent.

Cassidy smiled. "I love you, Jacob. I don't wanna be with anyone else. I wanna be with you forever." Happy tears prickled her eyes. "I'm so happy your alive." She put her front paw on his stomach and hugged him.

Jacob smiled. He thought about Akeila. Who should I pick? He asked himself in his head. Jacob licked her lips more. His tail tightened as it wrapped around her waist. "What about Logan? You don't like him any more?" he asked with a curious look in his eyes.
