Lydia trotted around outside the den flicking her ears back as thoughts came in mind.

Logan followed her and sniffed then thought of Cassidy again. His ears went back and he slowed down.

Lydia looked over her shoulder and stopped walking seeing Logan stop. She turned and flicked her tail getting a bit annoyed. She trotted over to him and nudged his chin. "You alright?"

Logan nodded and sat down staring at his paws. He sighed and looked up at her and lifted his ears slightly. "I-I'm fine, Lydia..."

Lydia raised an eyebrow and sat down beside him. "I know this is about Cassidy. Like I said, you need to move on. She likes Jacob after the accident."

Logan nodded. "I know, but I can't stop thinking about her."

"I know how you feel..." Lydia murmured and flicked her ears then blinked and stared at him.

Logan looked over at her. "You do?"

Lydia nodded. "I used to have a huge crush on this male. Before, he didn't even know I existed and then this whole thing happened with a male and the other female he was in love with started neglecting him and focusing on the other male that was hurt. I was heart broken. He was always talking about her and wishing that she was his mate. I dream about him every night and I never stop thinking about him."

Logan flicked his ears. "That sounds like what happened to Jacob, Cassidy and me..."

Lydia grinned.

Dawn begins pacing as she whines louder

Rain licked the screaming and squirming Dusty on the head and said "You are in nuttah" (Nuttah means my heart in the language of Cheyenne Indians) He looked in Dusty's tiny eyes with big soft eyes, and placed her in the crook of his forepaw. "Sleep little one" he soothingly said. He slid Shasta over to Dusty so the too could sleep together

Shasta had let out a tiny little yawn, she didn't even feel or notice that Rain had dragged her over to Dusy. She placed  her very tiny head on Rain's huge paw and began to drift away.

Rava padded out of the den, once out she broke into a run. She ran up the mountain. Once at the top she let out a long and loud howl saying: "Lightning! Where are you. We all are worried!" She let the same howl out 5 more times and sat at the top of the mountain for a reply.

Samson ran and ran he had climbed the small mountain which Rava was on now 3 hours ago and now was on a steep and tall mountain. His white fur bristled as the wind ran through it. He didn't stop walking nor running he kept going, like he was running away from something.

Yakone who was still fast asleep was dreaming about playing in the meadow chasing rabbits and hunting them down, a typical dream for a young pup like him.

Night looked around for his brother and couldn't find him. He went out side and howled for his brother. May came out side and howled with him. Cinder got up and barked "I should go back to my owners they're might be worried."  she runs back to the twolegs with her feet pushing her faster. May howled for her daughter but no answer from Cinder. She looked at Night who was laying down with his head on his paws. Tears called from his face and May licked his face.

Night hears his brother's howl for the pain of their dead family. Night dropped his head and tears fell, may whined and stayed close to him. When he heard his brother screech in pain he ran as fast as he could. He saw his brother laying at the bottom and he whimpered as he got closer to Samson and laid down next to him. May follow her mate when she saw Night and Samson laying in a pool of blood she howled for the pack. Cinder heard her mother's call for help and ran towards the howl.

Araceli, ran through the trees.  Her white coat, a blue against the vast land of distruction.  She had heard a call for help, and was now racing in the general direction of the howl.  Would she make it in time too help? the thought bounced around in her brain.
