Akeila smiled, her eyes sparkling, she padded out deeper into the water. She knew exactly what she was doing (not suicide.. XD). The small round head of the beaver resurfaced, Akeila lunged at it, sending the aquatic mammal back into the shadowy depths. She had played this game with her father, it was similar to a tag game. It brought Akeila joy, gifted her with exercise and better than all of the positive aspects--it granted her with good happy memories of her father.
The puppy, yipped as it was squashed. (Puppy pancake. Come and get your puppy pancake. XD) She whined, and squirmed. Desperate to free herself. Her ears perked, as she heard her mother whimper. Licking her mother's stomach, she did her best to soothe and comfort her mom.
Ryker smiled, the figures of his prey, stood before him. His tail wagging, he approached the couple. Leaping over a log, he launched himself into the air, coming down with a thud, he cocked his head. The doe was lying on the ground, the new fawn laying beside her, bleating softly. Padding towards the two creatures, he frowned. A round deep hole pin-pointed on the doe's chest--Poachers. He growled, then stared at the fawn, it laid there damp from the liquid from the amniotic sac. The amniotic sac was gone, and a trail of small paw-pads told him, a fox had gotten lucky. The brute stared at the fawn, what do I do with you? The thought of killing the helpless creature appalled him, grasping the fawn's neck he dragged it back towards the den. The small creature, thrashing and bleating in sure terror.
