I UPDATED THE SERVER

YAYYYYYYYYYYYY



Anyways, lol.
I updated to the new recomended build for bukkit, updated all our plug ins, and such. One big thing is that I disabled fire spread. I figured its prolly just a good idea in general. But I also added some SHINY NEW PLUG-INS!! :D


Shiny new plug-ins:

IcePVPcontrol
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/icepvpcontrol/

Which allows mods to change the server pvp status while the server is running, so I dont have to restart the server if we want to kill each other for fun. Yay!


SimpleWarps
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/simplewarps/

Draak recomended this and I highly agree. We need a faster way to get around our map and this is a good solution. Feralians and mods will be able to make warps wherever they want, but even newcomers can use these warps.


I looked into colored chat, but on closer inspection it would kind of be a waste of time. You would have to type in a code EVERYTIME you wanted to chat, so it would be stupid. I also looked into getting different channels, and that is looking good, but the plugin I want to get needs to update before I can put it on the server.

As for mo'creatures, I am really on the fence about it because it would be very dangerous for our map. If we got the beta and it never updated again, the map could die. How? Because mo'creatures has a million items. If you update minecraft and you have a mo'creatures item on your map, your map will crash. Not to mention I would need to figure that forge BS out.

I should make the giant journey out to the Mushroom Biome and plant one there and see if it works.

And that sucks and is weirdly complicated about the coloured names O_o.

I tried the warp thing, but it says I don't have permission.

You SHOULD have permissions, I definitely gave them to mods. You'll have to tell me what you were doing exactly that said you didnt have permissions though, there are several commands and actions in the mod.
