'Failed to connect to map server'

Okay, today i was trying to use a character who had been in a user created map when i logged out. At the load screen it says 'Failed to connect to map server, retry?' I retried, multiple times and nothing happened. After i was fed up with that i went onto another character. Accidently i entered a map on the cape of distant worlds. It said the same thing. I cant get back on those characters, i have tried redownloading feral heart, restarting my computer but nothing worked. I dont know what else to do. Can someone please help me?

Its just the server Taylor. The server mucks up sometime during the day (over here its the morning) then comes back on later, your not the only one experiencing this problem i get it too. The only thing to do is wait a bit until it comes back.
With a large amount of people online you are more likely to lose your connection with the server i find.

Just be patient and wait, the server will be back up soon.

I'm having the same problem, but the only different is, this had been going on all day. I was trying to log onto my prides map, and It comes up with 'failed to connect to map server' Every other map I have installed works perfectly. Its just this one :/

Ezra, its the same thing. But not. :/ Something may have gone wrong when you downloaded the map. Is it the first time going into the prides map? If it is i would suggest re-downloading it.
