I started the game after I finished making my character. I just see black but i see the character

You might need to re-install Feralheart. Try that, and if that doesn't work feel free to ask for more help.

Downloading it i dont think would make a difference. Getting a black screen is common on FH+ i believe and it can be solved with this tutorial by Sameth. Im unsure if this tutorial will work with the regular FH though.
