how to use the downloaded preset?

Hi, i'm really pissed of cause I tried to use downloaded preset... No matter what I try it keeps failing . I put the preset file in 'presets' and I even try to rename that file but no. What's wrong!?

I take it that this is a friend's preset? I can't be sure because you weren't very specific, but if so then all you have to do is download the file, don't rename it, and stick it directly in 'Presets'. If it doesn't work, it's just a problem with the file and probably nothing to do with any errors on your side.
