The Hyenas of The Blazing Sun are led by me; aka, Martha. But there are just a few things that I require if you wish to join us. Any and all type of hyenas welcome, as are aardwolves.
BEFORE YOU THINK ABOUT HOW LENGTHY THIS IS, know that I really want members; a lot of them. Don't think I'm tying to scare you away; it's just that hyenas are very misunderstood. I don't want someone running around with a huge alpha hyena telling the clan what to do like a baws. XD The males have little power.
If you know how hyenas and aardwolves really are, you can skip to the next paragraph. However, if you are ignorant when it comes to hyenas, I would ask that you either read the facts I have put below just for you, or if you do not wish to spend time on that, then simply refrain from requesting to join. There are simply too many FH users that are ignorant on them, which saddens me.
Hyena Facts; What You May Want to Know:
- Females are much, MUCH larger than the males
- Hyenas are not canine, NOR feline; they belong in the Hyaenidae family, and are related to meerkats and mongoose
- Groups usually called clans, offspring usually called cubs
- Females take all high ranks; even lead male is below lowest female
- Do not always scavenge; often hunt for themselves
- Can defeat a few lionesses in large numbers, but not males
- Hyenas are not dark gray with black manes like in TLK
- Can be anywhere from sandy, to tanish brown, or even silverish
- Aardwolves are not exactly like hyenas because they only eat termites, and so have extremely weak jaws; unlike hyenas with bone-crushing jaws
- Hyenas can literally eat an entire carcass; bones, hooves, antlers, and even fur.
Of course, you could always ask me about them via PM, and I'll be happy to tell you~ <3 It's nothing personal, but I am not fond of users who roleplay as a hyena and know nothing of their anatomy or social structures. Now, you don't have to be an expert, but at least know how they interact with each other, their anatomy (please no sparklenas. XD), and know that they are not canine and have cubs/live in clans. It's really not all that much; it's what basically everyone on FH knows about canines, and that's not hard, now is it? :3

(It's also quite fun to go around in Fluorite and 'conquer' dens, too. XD) We like to have a good time. :3
