Map Problems| STATUS: Not fixed yet

This is kind of strange and has been happening for 4 months now. My friends have been missing me on Feralheart and it's time for me to ask the people with the knowledge.
I normally login, pick a character, and go in.
The map loads and I walk around a while, check my friends list...
But then it just randomly says I have lost connection to the map server. This happens every try, every map, every character, every NEW character and my spare account.
Can ANYONE please help me? This has been happening since RIGHT before 1.0 came out.
EDIT: My connection is great, I have tested my latency AND...
This problem is also happening with the known game, Impressive World. Coincidence?

It may be your internet connection, anything happen recently that could have caused this?

As I said above, my internet connection is perfect, my latency from me to FH is 60 (Lower than 90 is great) and I have not downloaded or changed anything during that time. Actually, I have been out of the house when this happened. I had just come home and that suddenly happened.

What I don't understand with your writing is if this happened ever since the launch since you wrote before 1.0 which is the first version of FH. Or if it's something that started happening after being able to play the game for a while.

As we can see though it must be something around your computer and your internet since the server has been up for months and users connect and play everyday.

And restart your router if you've not done that already, but if you follow and check the things mentioned in the thread and make sure nothing is wrong that way it should work.

If we want to make it annoying there have been players in the past who couldn't play FH properly because they needed to open some ports in the router that were closed on default, this is nothing that I can personally help you with. Not sure if FH even needs uPnP enabled but if you have administrative privileges to the router you could always check so it's enabled and that it's set up for online play. No other functions in it blocking all outcoming connections for security.

I have message for this, too.
I have a Dell Intel Windows 7 which means I can't fully edit my connection permissions and garauntee it will work. I have restarted my router and even messed with my modem, I have all my suggested ports open, including ones that allow me to make servers for multiplayer modded video games. I have TRIED using some known ports to login with that might work, 2 of them gave me the same results, 1 didn't work at all.

As far as I know which computer and OS you have shouldn't restrict you from changing anything on the computer atleast as long as you are logged in on the Admin account. But as long as you know you checked up and did what you could there's not much more I'd be able to suggest.

Still don't know if you had this problem since the launch or if it was something that showed up afterwards.

I will send this message to the server master once he gets home, he knows more a lot than me and should be able to get some information out about what it could be and if something can be done on your part.
