Exporting maps?
« on: March 26, 2012, 11:28:43 pm »
So yes, about exporting maps...
After I export the map, I am unable to use the game and then I must re-download FH.

I try and keep the items .cgf file from going over 5kb (so it's less laggy aswell). But in some maps they go over 10 and even 20 kb. Though after exporting it wouldn't work until i deleted the .map file and folder in terrains. Is there any possible way to not have to delete it? I was going to connect some maps, but alas i couldn't since I had to get rid of the files.

Do you crash when you're trying to open the game once after you've export a map?
Then it might be a double file in your particle folders.

So if you see two of same files, example aura, delete the one with name aura_0.

Sometimes though I do not have particles at all in the map, but it refuses to let me in when I try and open it.

You don't even have to put particles in the map, it can still make double files.
