Problem with Cape?
« on: April 22, 2012, 02:42:34 pm »
I'd just like to ask, that are there any problems with Cape of Distant Worlds? Because i can't go there in the normal Feral Heart (i can go there in FH+):( In Lonely Cave i go through the gate to Cape, but the program just goes off. I tried to go from my own maps to Cape, but there's the same problem. I've tried many times, i've restarted the computer, too, but it's still not working. Can anyone help me, please? I really don't want to redownload the program :(

PS: And sorry if i have bad English, i'm from Hungary.

Is there an error message? There is nothing wrong with Cape, but if you're getting messages such as "Can't connect to map server. Retry?" or "Bad Token", then you're probably lagging. There could be too many people in Cape or you have a bad internet connection.
If this has been happening for a long time, you might be missing the Cape of Distant Worlds map, in which case you do need to uninstall and reinstall FeralHeart. Though that's unlikely, seeing as you still have the option to actually go through the portal. It's more likely to be a lag problem.

Like Necro said, there shouldn't be a problem with the Cape, the server just got a restart this morning. Try making sure the map file is actually thar.

Thanks for the replies. There aren't any error messages, so i don't really understand. But it's good to know, that the map is working well, so now i know, it's my computer's problem. Thanks again :)
