HELP!!!! MAP MAKER NOT WORKING

Ok, so I have made a height map and mask using GIMP, and saved it in feral heart>media>terrains. They are...
-513 by 513
-One layer
-Greyscale (height map) RGB (mask)

I open map maker, and save my map with only the name... (Let's call it Example...). I then load it and go to the world tab, typing in my height map in the Terrain Height Map text box, ExampleTerrain.png and click enter. A window comes up saying that ExampleTerrain.png could not be found. So I forget that for a bit, and type in my mask in the Terrain Alpha Map text box. The ground goes black, and doesn't change no matter which Terrain Texture I set. Could anyone please help me?

Yarp, okay.

Create the map file first in map maker, save it.

Then you'll want to save your png. files for your height map and mask to FH>Media>Terrains>Example

Make sure again, they're all

513x513
One layer
Greyscale (height map) RGB (mask)
No alpha channel for the height map

And saved as ExampleTerrain.png and ExampleMask.png

No, once you save the map maker file in the game? Like, name it and click save, it'll automatically make a folder for you. That's where you need to put them after.

Yes, I know... I put a name, Example, into map name and map display name, then click save on map maker. Then, I load the saved file, and type in the file name for height map in the corresponding text box in the tab world... but it still doesn't work...

And you have the height map and mask map saved into the Example folder in terrains? I kind of don't think you're understanding what I'm saying..

So I have to make an example folder to save the height map and mask IN terrain, like an extra folder in the terrains folder?

No, it should be in the name of your map. I was saying Example because that was the name of your map.

For example, my FireflyIsland map would have its own folder in the terrains folder. That's also where I saved my PNG.'s for my height map and mask.

Yeah I understand... But I need a folder for my height map and mask in the terrains folder?

There should be one automatically. From the map you saved. Put them in /that/ folder.
